Nagbabala ang Miss Universe Organization (MUO) laban sa post ng Miss Universe Thailand (MUT) tungkol sa online voting sa mga kandidata para makapasok sa Top 10 ng Miss Universe 2025.
May kasama pa raw itong "special dinner" at "talk show" kasama si Nawat Itsaragrisil, ang vice-president ng Miss Universe Asiana at president ng Miss Universe Thailand.
Sa pahayag ng MUO na lumabas Linggo ng gabi, November 2, 2025, sinabi ritong ang mga ganitong klaseng pagtitipon na walang pahintulot ng organisasyon ay maituturung na "violation of intellectual property rights and brand integrity."
Nakasaad sa statement: "The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) issues this official statement to address and clarify recent online posts promoting an event described as a 'Special Dinner & Talk Show.'
"The Organization wishes to make it absolutely clear that this activity is not authorized.
"Any independent or third-party activity using the Miss Universe name, logo, marks, or related branding without prior written authorization is considered a violation of intellectual property rights and brand integrity."
Hindi rin daw awtorisado ang promotional materials na lumalabas, kasama na ang online voting, para sa mga kandidata.
"The Organization further declares that any promotional materials, contests, or voting initiatives currently circulating online under the Miss Universe name, including those associated with the aforementioned event, are unauthorized and misleading. Such initiatives do not represent the values, operations, or official activities of the Miss Universe Organization.
"Miss Universe Organization reserves all legal rights to take appropriate action against any individual, company, or entity found to be using its intellectual property, trademarks, or brand assets without permission, including but not limited to the Miss Universe name, logo, imagery, or official event designations."
Pinapanatili raw ng Miss Universe Organization ang kanilang "highest standards of transparency, professionalism, and integrity" sa mga bansa kung saan ito ginaganap.
"As the global authority of the Miss Universe brand, MUO will continue to uphold the highest standards of transparency, professionalism, and integrity in every country where it operates. The Organization reaffirms its ongoing commitment to protecting its delegates, partners, sponsors, and the global public from misleading or unauthorized activities."

MISS UNIVERSE THAILAND ISSUES STATEMENT
Pumalag naman ang Miss Universe Thailand, ang host country at pinamumunuan ni Nawat, sa pahayag ng Miss Universe Organization.
Ang kanilang "like" voting campaign daw sa Facebook ay pinayagan bilang bahagi ng "marketing package" para sa host country.
Nakasaad dito: "In reference to the recent announcement by MUO, we would like to clarify that the 'Like voting campaign on social media is part of the official marketing package authorized for the Host Country.
"As the officially licensed Host Organization, we hold the rights to manage and execute such promotional activities within our territory.
"This activity is a collaboration with our valued sponsors, whose generous support has made it possible to deliver such a world-class event as everyone has witnessed.
"The voting process is a fair and transparent selection method designed to determine which delegates will participate in specific activities among a large number of contestants."
Ikinadismaya rin ng MUT ang pahayag ng MUO dahil nagdulot daw ito ng kalituhan sa publiko.
May karapatan daw silang gumawa ng mga aktibidades bilang official host country ng pageant.
Pinag-aaralan na raw ng kanilang legal office kung ano ang idudulot nito sa Thai sponsors, at hindi sila mangingiming magsampa ng reklamo kung may maling aksiyon ang MUO.
Pagtatapos pa sa pahayag: "The recent announcement by MUO has unfortunately led to public misunderstanding despite the fact that our actions are fully within the rights and privileges granted to us as the official Host.
"We will forward this matter to our legal team for review regarding any potential impact on our Thai sponsors and will immediately pursue appropriate legal action in response if necessary.

Inilabas ng Miss Universe Thailand ang kanilang voting guidelines kahapon, November 2, habang nagaganap ang registration at fittings ng mga kandidata sa 74th Miss Universe.
