Noong December 4, 2025, lumabas ang alegasyon ng pagkakaroon umano ng ugnayan ni Cho Sae Ho kay alyas Mr. Choi, isang kilalang local gang leader sa South Korea.

Diumano, sina Mr. Choi at Cho Sae Ho ay may malalim na ugnayan dahil madalas daw silang nagkikita.
Pinatotohanan ito ng isang netizen na nagpakilalang si "A"—na umano'y nakakita sa dalawa.
Ayon kay "A," nakita niya sina Cho Sae Ho at Mr. Choi na magkayakap sa isang establisyemento kung saan umano nagtatrabaho ang TV host.

CHOI SAE HO'S MANAGEMENT DENIES ALLEGATIONS

Noong December 5, naglabas ng statement ang A2Z Entertainment, ang talent management ni Cho Sae Ho.
Anila, walang katotohanan ang lahat ng ibinibintang sa kanilang talent.

Maaaring gumawa lang daw ng kuwento si "A" para siraan si Cho Sae Ho dahil kailanman ay hindi nakatanggap ng pera o anumang regalo ang komedyante mula kay Mr. Choi.
Narito ang kanilang pahayag (base sa English translation ng Soompi.com): "We would like to provide our official statement regarding the December 4, 2025 report titled “Cho Sae Ho Allegedly Linked to Organized Crime Involved in Illegal Money Laundering,” as well as related follow-up reports concerning our artist Cho Sae Ho.
"The informant known as “A,” who is said to be the source of the report, claimed through their social media account that Cho Sae Ho is personally acquainted with Mr. Choi and has suggested that “Cho Sae Ho was directly or indirectly involved in Choi’s actions.”
"However, this is nothing more than A’s personal speculation, and we clearly state that it is not true.
"Additionally, A has alleged that “Cho Sae Ho received money or expensive gifts from Choi.” This, too, is entirely based on A’s personal assumptions and has no basis in fact."
Dahil sa mga alegasyon, handang paimbestigahan ng A2Z Entertainment ang nagpakalat ng maling impormasyon kay Cho Sae Ho.

Saad nila: "A2Z Entertainment is currently reviewing active legal action—both criminal and civil—against A for defamation through the dissemination of false information about our artist, as well as obstruction of business.

CHO SAE HO ISSUES APOLOGY
Matapos maglabas ng pahayag ang A2Z Entertainment, si Cho Sae Ho naman ang nagsalita para humingi ng paumanhin sa lahat ng kanyang tagahanga.
Pag-amin ni Cho Sae Ho, mula nang lumabas ang mga alegasyon sa kanya ay hindi niya mapigilang mangamba sa sasabihin at iisipin ng kanyang fans—kahit alam daw niya sa kanyang sarili na ang mga ibinibintang sa kanya ay walang katotohanan.
Lalo na ang alegasyong money laundering at pagtanggap ng pera mula sa ilegal na gawain.

"That said, I want to state that the suspicions raised in connection with those acquaintances are entirely untrue.
"Of course, I fully understand that the way I appeared in the photos alone caused disappointment.
"I should be giving viewers laughter and comfort, yet instead I made you feel discomfort and let you down. Once again, I deeply reflect and apologize."
CHO SAE HO STEPS DOWN FROM HIS TWO SHOWS

Saad niya: "Going through this, I have looked inward to consider whether I am placing a burden on the programs I’m part of.
"You Quiz on the Block is a program where the most important thing is to listen attentively to guests’ stories and empathize with them.
"In my current state, I judged that I cannot fully carry out that role.
"And because 2 Days & 1 Night is also an important variety show on the public broadcasting station KBS, I worried I might place an unnecessary burden on the program and the team.
"After much deliberation, I conveyed to the production teams my intention to step down from both programs.
"I feel nothing but remorse toward the members, the staff, and viewers who believed in me and worked with me."
Dagdag pa niya: "I got married last year and started a family, and I have been trying to become a better person, but through this incident I keenly feel how much I still fall short.
"Even so, for the sake of the family I am responsible for, I plan to correct what is untrue through the necessary procedures."
