TWICE member Chaeyoung and soloist-rapper Zion.T have denied reports claiming that they have ended their relationship.
On Friday, August 14, 2026, several reports surfaced alleging that the K-pop couple had broken up after dating publicly for about two years.
In response, representatives for Chaeyoung and Zion.T initially commented, “It is difficult to confirm as it is the artists’ private life.”

However, a few hours later, their agencies released a joint official statement saying that the “breakup rumors are completely groundless.”
In the statement, the agencies said they had confirmed the matter directly with Chaeyoung and Zion.T.
They said the two are still together and continue to have positive feelings toward each other.
"We would like to deliver the official position of both sides regarding the breakup rumors concerning Zion.T and Chaeyoung that were reported today.
"The breakup rumors are completely groundless.
"After confirming with the artists themselves, we have verified that the two are still continuing their beautiful relationship with positive feelings toward each other," the statement read, according to an English translation by Soompi.

The agencies also warned that they would closely monitor the spread of false information and malicious posts concerning the couple.
They stressed that they would pursue strong legal action against sensationalized reports and the spread of unverified claims that could harm the artists’ reputations.
The agencies stated: "Notice regarding strong response to the spread of false information
"Both agencies will continue to monitor the situation to ensure that the artists’ reputations are not damaged by groundless, speculative articles, the spread of false information that differs from the truth, or malicious posts.
"We state clearly that we will take strong legal action against the reporting and spreading of sensational content based on unverified facts."
"Furthermore, we ask for your support for Chaeyoung, who recently announced a fresh start by establishing her independent label LIL FANTASY.
"We also ask for your continued interest and warm support for Zion.T’s diverse and active musical endeavors," they continued.

CHAEYOUNG AND ZION.T’S RELATIONSHIP
Chaeyoung and Zion.T first confirmed their relationship in April 2024.
Their romance has since attracted significant attention from fans, particularly following Chaeyoung’s recent announcement that she is leaving JYP Entertainment to pursue a new chapter in her music career.
On August 13, Chaeyoung announced that she had established her own creative world, LIL FANTASY, while assuring fans that her departure from JYP Entertainment would not change her commitment to TWICE.

Meanwhile, like Chaeyoung, Zion.T is also a well-known figure in the Korean music industry, particularly recognized for his distinctive voice and smooth R&B sound.
He is known for songs such as “Yanghwa Bridge,” “Eat,” “No Make Up,” “Snow,” “Complex,” and “Just,” among others.
Beyond his work as a solo artist, Zion.T has collaborated with several major Korean musicians, including G-Dragon, Beenzino, Gaeko, Crush, and Lee Moon Sae.
