Eva Le Queen reacts TO M1ss Jade So's statement

Dire-diretsong saad ni Eva: "Jade and I have not been on speaking terms since December last year.
"Despite that, we were sisters; we used to be. I would like to believe it in my heart of hearts that at some point in our lives we rooted and believed in the best parts of us.
"I was there for her... And she was there for me in some of our craziest and best times together, which I will always hold fondly.
"But life has a way of teaching us that some people are just not meant to be in our lives.
"That lesson came in December last year during Drag in the South year-end concert.
"Now, for some of you who may not be attending our shows or may not be familiar, Drag in the South was the biggest recurring drag stage in the Philippines.
"It's huge. It's like our own version of a K-pop concert or ASAP stage. It brings the best and the brightest Filipino drag superstars to one stage.
"It has a supersized cast of around sixteen to twenty drag queens, leaving our audiences a huge, massive 1,500-plus guests with unforgettable experiences every time.
"Now, during this show, during Jade's 12-minute solo performance, she had a wardrobe malfunction, and we can all agree things like these happen; definitely, it was unintentional."

"While some of us would probably cover ourselves when these things happen, M1ss Jade So made a deliberate and conscious decision to pull her top down, exposing her breasts to all 1,500 audiences in front of minors, in front of the marketing team and executives... in front of our sponsors, and in front of the very clients that has paid us, Playhouse, to make that event possible.
"Now, I, for one, most definitely believe in freedom of expression. That's what drag is, of course. But I also believe that as artists, we have the responsibility to make sure that we exercise that freedom at the right time, in the right place, and in front of the right audience.
"Luckily, we were able to contain that situation. So I was the host of the event; after the performance, I was on the mic. I told everyone, 'Okay, what happens in Drag in the South stays in Drag in the South.'
"People were cooperative, social media was clear, and the only thing that my clients asked of Jade was to not post about the incident, to which she and her manager agreed."

Saad niya: "A few days later, Jade uploaded her performance on her YouTube channel.
"Now, this entire incident has put so much conflict, upset, and pressure in my relationship with my clients.
"To make the long story short, there has been a series of negotiations and amendments in a contract back and forth until Drag in the South, my most valuable client, and by which any client in the world has all the right to do so, has decided to not renew our services at the Playhouse.
"And eventually, later on in the year, it led to a mutual decision for us to permanently dissolve and terminate the Drag in the South brand."

Lahad niya: "You see, Drag in the South wasn't just a one-time gig. We all look forward to it once every quarter, and we—I mean myself, my Playhouse team, and around 180 to 200 plus drag queens, personal assistants, backup dancers, front of house, production staff, stage managers, ushers, usherettes, security personnel, videographers, freelancers, and so many other people who directly and indirectly rely on that quarterly gig for work opportunities.
"The Drag in the South stage was the stage of my dreams, and I did not build it overnight. People who have been with us know this.
"That stage was four years in the making... So now, how do I tell myself that all of that is now gone?
"Imagine all the disappointment of thousands of Drag in the South regulars and patrons asking when the next show will be, the regret of all the drag queens who will never get to experience that stage again, and the millions of pesos worth of contracts that my employees and I at Playhouse lost.
"All of that. I had to carry all of that alone and in silence."
Pagbabalik-tanaw niya: "So what did I do to Jade? I sent her one message. Just one, and I think I said something like, 'T*ng*na mo talaga.
"That was it, and I blocked her. Blocked her everywhere. And to me, that one angry message and the choice to block her out permanently was a very valid crash-out.
"That was the last conversation I ever had with her, ever. Now, as a business owner and producer, naturally, I made the call to remove Jade from all shows of the Playhouse.
"It's simple: I just don't wanna work with her. I cannot afford another penalty. There was no power tripping. There was no manipulating.
"The decision not to work with Jade was a very sensible business decision. I just lost my biggest production. Why on earth would I still want to work with her?"

Emosyonal na pahayag ni Eva: "On July 18...Jade appeared in a podcast with Tuesday Vargas called BalagBAGan. In the show, which is now re-edited and re-uploaded, Jade brought up our issue.
"Well, now the segment of that episode has been deleted, and I'd like to commend Tuesday and her team for their fast and swift response.
"In the podcast, without being asked or prompted, Jade has volunteered to share our encounter.
"Although the names and the details have been bleeped out in that episode, the people were quick to figure it out and started tagging me in the comment section and on Reddit.
"Well, the way she narrated the story was pretty much accurate to what actually happened. It was a wardrobe malfunction, and then she made a choice to pull her top down.
"In that episode, she said that she felt powerful and empowered after she exposed herself, and she even mentioned that her advocacy was to normalize boobs.
"She even made a reference to it, like to women breastfeeding in public, and so on. And she even doubled down by saying that, you know, she received very hurtful words from me.
"That incident sent me into another anxiety attack cause honestly, I could not reconcile why she did that, why she had to go to that podcast and speak about it again.
"Why, why would you share a direct message, a private conversation that we had, that the public has no business knowing, you know, violating my privacy and also your non-disclosure agreement with us?
"Why would you turn that narrative into a violation of your advocacy when I had to deal with so much psychological, financial, and material damage and losses that you didn't even show remorse for?
"Why? Why would you drag my name again into all of this mess when I've already given you the chance to walk away?
"That was a final act of kindness that you did nothing to deserve."
TUESDAY DEFENDS BALAGBAGAN AMID EVA-JADE FEUD

Mababasa sa post ng comedienne: "I recently watched Eva Le Queen’s video explaining her side of the story. While she appeared calm and composed on camera, the reality behind closed doors was vastly different.
"Right now, I cannot face her personally. I am deeply hurt by the aggressive messages sent to my private inbox, and for the sake of my mental health—to protect myself from severe anxiety and panic attacks—I must set a hard boundary."

Saad niya: "When we created Balagbagan, our intention was simple: to build a space that highlights the human stories behind the camera, giving artists and personalities a platform to share their truths, foster understanding, and offer clarity.
"Recently, our platform became the focal point of a dispute between third parties.
"I want to set the record straight regarding the integrity of our host, our production team, and our show.
"I am releasing this statement to clear up her recent live video, where she made it appear as though she was sincerely thanking my team for our swift re-edit.
"The truth is, while I can understand the high emotions and anger she felt regarding her situation, sending a host a DM of that nature, hurling uncalled-for accusations, and questioning my integrity is a completely different story."
Tuesday forwards screenshots to legal team
Aniya: "After receiving those hurtful messages, I found myself questioning my own integrity—which makes me realize why Jade felt so lost and hurt in her own experience.
"Because of the nature and severity of the statements made against me, I have officially forwarded these screenshots to my legal team for review.
"As a host, I facilitate open conversations with guests. We do not ambush, nor do we orchestrate conflict.
"When sensitive details were brought up during a guesting, my team actively exercised caution—bleeping names, re-editing content, and pulling down initial cuts to protect the individuals involved.
"We acted in good faith to mitigate fallout, even for issues we had no prior knowledge of."
Tuesday hits back at Eva's alleged harsh private messages

Saad ni Tuesday: "While recent public statements from concerned parties have focused on peace and understanding, the private reality sent to my inbox was starkly different.
"I was personally targeted, accused of being a "fake ally," and blamed for pre-existing conflicts that had nothing to do with me or my intentions.
"It is unfair to redirect frustration and project motives onto a host or a show that was merely providing a platform and actively taking steps to protect everyone involved.
"My commitment to supporting the drag community and the LGBTQIA+ movement in the Philippines is genuine and has never been about clout."
"I want to make it unequivocally clear: I am not tone-deaf or insensitive to the gravity of what happened.
"As a breadwinner who carries the weight of supporting my own family, I deeply understand the pain, anxiety, and fear of losing income.
"My heart sincerely goes out to the drag queens, dancers, production staff, tech crews, and security personnel who lost their jobs and livelihood as a result of this incident.
"Their loss is heavy, and no worker deserves to be caught in the crossfire of controversy.
"To be clear, these accusations were sent privately via DM and were never made public by either side.
"However, the message was deeply accusatory, harshly judging me immediately without giving me a single chance to be heard or to explain. Out of respect, I do not wish to publish private messages online," aniya.

Pahayag niya: "My only wish is for Eva to resolve her issue directly with the people involved, without dragging me, my show, or our production team into the middle of it.
"We knew absolutely nothing about their underlying conflict; we simply gave Jade her moment in the spotlight and were caught off guard by her revelations during filming.
"We did the absolute best we could to protect everyone—and by Eva’s own admission, names and identifying details were omitted.
"Given all the care we took, I truly cannot comprehend the severe anger and harshness directed at me behind closed doors.
"All I wish is for the affected workers to recover, and for all parties involved to resolve their issues, heal, and find peace."
