South Korean actress and Running Man member Ji Ye Eun, 32, is set to marry dancer-choreographer Vata, 32, nearly five months after publicly confirming their relationship.
On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, several media outlets reported that Ji Ye Eun and Vata are getting married on December 12, which also happens to be Vata’s birthday.
Following the reports, Ji Ye Eun’s agency, CP Entertainment, confirmed the couple’s upcoming wedding and asked fans and the public for their support.
In a statement, the agency said (as translated into English by Soompi.com), “The two have promised to spend their lives together based on deep trust.
"We ask for your warm blessings and support for the couple as they stand at the threshold of a new beginning.”

Vata’s agency, A-RA, also confirmed the upcoming marriage, saying that the dancer has found a “precious partner” with whom he will begin a new chapter.
"Vata has met a precious partner, and the two are beginning a new journey as a married couple.
"They have promised to become each other’s most reliable companions based on deep trust and love.
"We hope you will bless their future with warm hearts," the agency stated.
Ji Ye EUn and Vata's relationship
Ji Ye Eun and Vata reportedly began dating about a year ago before publicly confirming their relationship in April 2026.
Since then, the couple has openly expressed their affection for each other.

Ji Ye Eun has been vocal about her feelings for Vata, sharing sweet remarks about him during her appearances on Korean variety shows such as Running Man and Pinggyego.
Meanwhile, Vata has also publicly shown his affection by sharing photos of Ji Ye Eun on his Instagram account.

Ji Ye Eun made her acting debut in 2017 through the web drama How To.
She later gained recognition through various variety shows, including Saturday Night Live Korea, Running Man, and Office Workers.
Ji Ye Eun also starred in Netflix’s series Kian’s Bizarre B&B (2025) and Jae Seok’s B&B Rules (2026).

Meanwhile, Vata, whose real name is Kim Tae Hyun, is the leader of the dance crew We Dem Boyz.
He rose to prominence after competing in Mnet’s Street Man Fighter in 2022, where his crew finished as runners-up.
As a choreographer, Vata has worked on several K-pop songs, including Zico’s “New Thing” and BLACKPINK’s Jennie’s “Like Jennie.”
