Pokwang is now officially a Kapuso.
GMA Artist Center announced that Pokwang has signed with the Kapuso talent management arm today, June 18, 2021.
Pokwang has also officially announced her transfer through Twitter by retweeting the post of GMA Artist Center.
She wrote in her tweet (published as is), "This is it… thank you po @ArtistCenter @gmanetwork papa God, at sa inyong lahat salamat po sa pagkakataong muling maihatid at maibahagi ko ang aking talento sa inyong lahat na tunay na nagmamahal at sumosuporta"
On June 2, 2021, Pokwang posted a selfie inside a dressing room, saying she is #backtowork.
Netizens noticed that she is in a dressing room at GMA Network Center. Kapuso actress Carla Abellana even welcomed her in the comments section.
A PEP Troika report later revealed that she would be doing two guest appearances in the Kapuso network, including The Boobay and Tekla Show. The episode will air on Sunday, June 20, 2021.
PEP Troika also reported that Pokwang will be included in Pepito Manaloto's prequel, Pepito Manaloto: Ang Unang Kwento.
Prior to her GMA-7 transfer, Pokwang’s last project was the game show Fill In The Bank, produced by Archangel Media. It ran from August 2020 to March 2021 on TV5.
Pokwang was also a host in another Archangel Media-produced talk show Chika BESH! with Pauleen Luna and Ria Atayde as co-hosts. It aired from August 2020 to January 2021.
In June 2020, Pokwang appeared as a guest in the "Bawal Judgmental" segment of Eat Bulaga.
Pokwang started her career in ABS-CBN when she won in a contest called “Clown in a Million,” a segment in the gag show Yes Yes Show, in 2005.
She began accepting projects outside the network when ABS-CBN was shut down by Congress in July 2020.
To this day, she continues to support the Kapamilya network in her social-media posts.
GMA-7 has yet to announce Pokwang's upcoming projects in the network.
