Ikinalungkot ni Jed Madela ang komento ng isang rude netizen sa YouTube na ininsulto ang kanyang kakayahan bilang singer.
Nitong nakaraang February 2, 2023, ibinahagi ni Jed ang screenshot ng komento ng isang netizen na sinabing kahit tumigil na siya sa pag-awit ay hindi maramdaman ang kanyang pagkawala.
Buong komento ng basher: “Kahit mag stop ka, di mararamdaman absence mo! Ang daming mga bagong singers na magagaling at fresh na, down to earth pa.”
Sabi ni Jed sa caption, ikinalungkot niya ang komentong ito ng nasabing “mean person.”
Pilit daw niyang iniintindi kung anong klaseng kasiyahan ang makukuha ng netizen sa komento nito.
Buong post ni Jed: “Such a mean person…
“Just woke up and saw this post. Instead of getting upset, I felt sad. [sad emoji] I’m trying to understand what happiness or satisfaction this post gives to this person but I can’t seem to piece it together.
“Oh well…”
Nakisimpatiya naman sa kanya sina Direk Joey Reyes at kapwa ASAP Natin ‘To mainstay na si Martin Nievera.
Saad ni Direk Joey, “True. In any artistic endeavor especially those which expose you directly to the kindness ... or brutality of a sector of the entitled public.”
Sabi naman ni Martin, walang katulad bilang mang-aawit si Jed. Huwag daw itong padadala sa mga masasakit na salitang kanyang nababasa.
Aniya, “You are what we call, ‘a singers singer,’ there is no other voice I know that is as consistently powerful and as consistently in tune and in shape as your voice!
“You sing and we all are all left with our mouthes open in envy. I can list down so many singers who will agree with me! You are amazing Jed! Much better than words can say so don’t let words bring you down!”
THE INTERVIEW
Noong January 29, 2023, nagpasalamat si Jed sa mga taong positibo ang pagtanggap ng kanyang mga sinabi kay Toni Gonzaga sa vlog nitong Toni Talks noong araw ring iyon.
Sa nasabing panayam, ipinagtapat ni Jed na naisipan niyang iwan ang kanyang singing career noong 2021 dahil naramdaman niyang hindi na siya kailangan sa industriya.
Pakiramdam daw kasi niya ay naiitsapuwera siya sa tuwing may bago at mas batang singers na ipinakikilala.

Pero, hindi rin niya maiwasang makabasa ng mga negatibong komento tungkol sa kanyang panayam.
