Sa pamamagitan ng direct messaging sa Instagram ngayong araw, June 24, nagkuwento ang aktres, acting coach, at director na si Beverly Vergel ng mga sitwasyon na kanyang nasaksihan sa lamay.
Makailang beses na raw kasi siyang dumalaw sa lamay ni Patrick sa Ward Funeral Home sa 52 Main Street South, Brampton, Ontario, Canada.

Parehong nakabase na sa Canada sina Beverly at Patrick.
Kuwento ni Beverly sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), napakapribado ng naiwang maybahay ni Patrick na si Liezle Guzman. Ni hindi raw niya alam kung gaano kasikat ang asawa noong 1990s.
Ani Beverly sa direct message (published as is), “Liezle is a private woman. She was not aware of how popular Patrick was as a ‘90’s heartthrob.
“She is not used to the deluge of attention and queries since she had enjoyed a private life with Patrick.
“Understandably, the sudden passing was shocking to all of us, much more for Liezle.
"Aeden, the son was there. He looks ok. Everything will sink-in after the burial. When life goes back to normal.”
Dumating din daw ang pamilya ni Patrick, at ilan sa kanila ay nakakuwentuhan ni Beverly.
“The place was packed with family and friends of Patrick. Siblings of Patrick flew in from Vancouver.
“Liezle has 2 sisters.
"And Syd, a brother. Syd is from Kingston and he drove for 3 hours the minute he got the call. He and Patrick are very close.
“He’s said he never, ever saw Patrick angry.”
Dumalaw din sa lamay ang cast ng pelikulang BROmance na pinagbidahan ni Patrick noong taong 2019.
Sabi pa ni Beverly (published as is), “In photos are the cast of BROmance The Movie and producer paying outs last respects. The room and hallway was full of guests from family and friends. Patrick was loved by so many.”
First time din daw niya nakakita ng lamay na ang patay ay nakalagak sa isang open casket kaya hindi niya ito kinunan ng larawan.
Hindi raw siya talaga lumalapit sa mga kabaong ng patay, pero nagawa raw niya ito sa burol ni Patrick.
Aniya, “It was my first time to see an open casket. No glass.
“I do not look at people in a casket because my visual brain retains what I see, in color! But with Patrick, I went near and said a prayer. He was such a good man. Too good to be real.”
Si Patrick ay binawian ng buhay dahil sa atake sa puso sa edad na 56 noong June 15 (petsa sa Ontario, Canada).
