Ayon sa nagtanong kay Iris, nais niyang maliwanagan kung ano ang kuwento sa likod ng post ng Miss Universe El Salvador Instagram account kung saan nasa Top 5 ang kinatawan ng Pilipinas na si Michelle Marquez Dee.
Pero sa mismong pageant ay hindi kasama ang pangalan ni Michelle sa inanunsiyo ng mga host na sina Maria Menounos, Olivia Culpo, at Jeannie Mai.
Ang mga nakapasok sa Top 5 ay sina Miss Australia Moraya Wilson, Miss Puerto Rico Karla Guilfú, Miss Nicaragua Sheynnis Palacios, Miss Thailand Anntonia Porsild, at Miss Colombia Camila Avella.

Tumugon naman si Iris at nagpaliwanag sa netizen.
Hindi raw siya aware sa sinabi nitong deleted post.
Bilang mga hurado, naging fair daw umano sila sa kanilang pag-score.
Nasa Top 5 din daw niya si Michelle.
Sagot ni Iris: "@arjeypiem I have no idea about a deleted post or something.. As judges, everything was fair and legal.
"But to be honest Michelle was in my top5. I loved her style in evening gown and I love her style since I saw her in the Philippines almost 3years ago.
"She didn’t do any mistakes, so the Philippines should be very proud of her.
"she is beautiful, kind, classy .. the level was really high this year, when you see the girls who didn’t make it to the top5, there is a lot of amazing contestants …
"I know that Michelle is very sweet and please give her a lot of love because she deserves it. She is the perfect representative for the Philippines. sweet, kind, true, classy, and hard worker. I hope to see her very soon."
