Nakalabas na ang businesswoman at dating aktres na si Neri Naig Miranda mula sa limang araw na hospital furlough.
At sa halip na bumalik siya sa piitan ay diretso nang nakauwi ang negosyante at dating aktres.
Ayon kay Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) spokesperson Jail Supt. Jayrex Bustinera, sa ulat ng dzBB ngayong gabi ng December 4, 2024, mga alas sais ng gabi nakalabas si Neri mula sa isang ospital sa Pasay City.

Ito ay matapos ipag-utos ng Pasay City Regional Trical Court (RTC) Branch 112 ang agarang pagpapalaya kay Neri kasunod ng pagpabor ng korte sa motion to quash ng kampo ng actress-businesswoman.
Pitong araw namalagi si Neri sa Pasay City Jail Female Dormitory matapos itong maaresto sa isang convention center sa nasabing siyudad noong November 23, 2024.

Inilipat siya sa isang pribadong ospital sa Pasay City rin noong November 29 para sa isang medical evaluation.

NERI NAIG'S LAWYER STATEMENT
Malaking tagumpay para sa mga abogado ni Neri ang araw na ito dahil bukod sa napaboran ang kanilang motion to quash a warrant of arrest, pinalaya rin si Neri sa kanyang pagkakakulong.

Malaki ang pasasalamat ni Atty. Aureli Sinsuat sa naging paborableng desisyon ng Pasay RTC sa kanyang kliyente.
"We confirm that the Regional Trial Court of Pasay City, Branch 112, has granted our motion to quash the warrant of arrest issued against Neri Miranda.
"The court has also ordered her immediate release from custody, pending the reinvestigation of the case by the Office of the City Prosecutor. We appreciate the Court's decision, which underscores Neri's constitutional right to due process," pahayag ng legal counsel ng dating aktres.
Umaasa rin silang mabigyan ng patas na pagkakataon si Neri na sumagot sa mga akusasyong ibinabato rito.
Dagdag sa pahayag, "The reinvestigation will provide an opportunity for Neri to respond to the allegations against her. We are hopeful that the reinvestigation will clear Neri of any wrongdoing in the Dermacare/Beyond Skin Care Solutions case.
"This development marks an important step toward resolving the matter fairly and justly."
Ang aantabayanan naman ng publiko ngayon ay ang arraignment at pre-trial ni Neri sa December 11, 2024.
