Conversations buzzed, glow sticks flickered, and the atmosphere brimmed with anticipation as thousands of fans gathered to witness Keshi’s Requiem Tour.
The American singer-songwriter came to Manila for a one-night-only show on March 4, 2025, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Waves of excitement rippled through the venue as the opening instrumental of his hit song "Gabriel" pulsed through the speakers.
Once the stage illuminated to reveal Keshi, the audience exploded in cheers.
From the moment he took his first steps forward, Keshi's every movement, every note, and every glance at the crowd made it clear that he was out to make this an unforgettable night for his fans.
He wasn’t just performing—he was creating an intimate, immersive experience where every fan felt seen, heard, and being part of something extraordinary.
Requiem Tour promised an ethereal experience with the dreamlike visuals on LED screens and a deceptively simple yet visually striking stage set-up, with warm, moody lighting that complemented the emotional depth of his songs.
And as Keshi moved around the stage to connect with many fans, and the audience responded with unwavering energy by singing along to every song, that expectation was certainly fulfilled.
A CROWD THAT SINGS WITH KESHI
The concert officially kicked off with "Amen," "Say," and "Night."
Before launching into "Night," Keshi greeted his fans with an enthusiastic, “Manilaaaa!”
He then shouted into the crowd, “Manila, what the f*ck is up? G*dd*mn, it feels good tonight! Hello! Hello! Hi, everyone! Hello there!
"Oh my God, it’s so good to be back here in the Philippines. I’ve been so, so excited to come back to you, guys, because I know you guys sing the best in the entire world.”
His energy was contagious, especially when he performed "Kiss Me Right," jumping around the stage and urging the crowd to perk up.
Fans sang along to "Like That," "The Reaper," and "Like I Need U," their voices blending with his in perfect harmony.
Between songs, Keshi took time to engage with his fans, reading banners, throwing guitar picks into the crowd, and sharing personal thoughts.
Before performing "Soft Spot," he set the mood, saying, “You know that feeling when you’re with someone, and there’s a little bit of tension?
"You find yourself doing something out of the ordinary just to be with them. Like when your arm touches theirs or your eyes lock.”
The crowd eagerly joined in as he invited them to sing their hearts out.
At one point, there was a brief technical issue with his guitar threatening to disrupt the flow, but Keshi handled it with ease.
He filled the silence by interacting with fans, reading handwritten signs, and laughing at messages like, “Keshi, I skipped school for this.”
When his guitar was finally fixed, he seamlessly picked up where he left off, delivering a mesmerizing performance of "Dream."
The crowd’s support never wavered, cheering him on and making the moment feel even more special.

THE LOUDEST CROWD AND A COMPETITIVE SPIRIT
One of the most unforgettable moments of the night was when Keshi put his Manila fans to the test, challenging them to prove they were the loudest crowd on his tour.
“Let’s play a game,” he teased, immediately igniting cheers from the audience.
“I want to see who the loudest crowd is.”
The competition had already been running through his previous shows, with Sydney, Melbourne, and Kuala Lumpur setting the bar high.
“So the first crowd to sing the song was Sydney. The second loudest was Melbourne because I told them Sydney sang really loud. But so far, the loudest crowd was Kuala Lumpur. You guys think you can beat Kuala Lumpur?”
The arena erupted in deafening screams, proving the fans were more than ready for the challenge.
The moment "Drunk" began, fans belted out every lyric at full volume, their voices filling every corner of the venue.
Keshi was visibly impressed, smiling as he whispered, “I love you,” which sent the crowd into an even wilder frenzy.
As the song ended, he officially declared, “Manila, I just decided—you guys are now the loudest crowd to sing ‘Drunk.’ Congratulations!”

A NIGHT THAT ENDED ON A HIGH NOTE
Even as the concert neared its end, the energy in the arena remained sky-high.
The crowd erupted when Keshi performed "Limbo," "Just to Die," "Touch," "War," "2 Soon," and "Bodies," each song deepening the emotional bond between the artist and his audience.
Before his final song, "Euphoria," Keshi took a moment to soak it all in.
He said, “You guys have been so f*cking great to me. Thank you so f*cking much! You guys are the crowd with the most hours, I love you so much!”
With that, he bowed to the crowd in every direction, showing his deep appreciation for the fans' energy and support.
The arena glowed with thousands of phone lights, holding on to every note of his heartfelt farewell performance.
But Manila wasn’t ready to say goodbye just yet.
The arena echoed with chants of “Isa pa!” and “Keshi!” until he returned for one last song.
Delivering a high-energy encore of "Id," he gave it his all before bidding farewell.
“My name is Keshi, Manila, have a good f*cking night!” he shouted, waving one last time before disappearing on stage.
As the night came to a close, fans left the arena with hearts full and voices hoarse from singing along.
Some clutched banners and keepsakes, while others replayed their favorite moments, already reminiscing about a night that felt almost surreal.
Overall, Keshi’s Requiem Tour in Manila was more than just a concert—it was an emotional, immersive experience that left a lasting mark on every fan who was there.
