Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi gave viewers a candid glimpse into their 24-year relationship during their guesting on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda last August 19, 2025.
The couple, who are celebrating their opal anniversary this year, found themselves in the hot seat as they tackled the topics of fidelity and “temptations” in marriage.
Boy Abunda kicked off the conversation with, “There are people who are attracted to married men.”
Zoren agreed without hesitation: “Marami. Nowadays, marami.”
The comment was enough to make Carmina raise her left eyebrow—a reaction Zoren immediately noticed.
The actor quickly backpedaled, clarifying that he was only speaking based on "statistics."
“Nagulat naman ako dun,” Carmina interjected, while Boy teased him further: “Statistics talaga iyon.”

ZOREN DISCUSSES MEN'S "MARUPOK" MOMENTS
Pressed on the issue, Zoren explained that he’s sometimes invited to podcasts where he’s asked to share the male perspective on why marriages break down.
He stressed that such topics often highlight only the woman’s side.
“Most of the time, pag naghihiwalay ang pamilya, it's always a point of view ng babae. Never point of view ng lalaki,” he said.
“Sabi ko, i-check niyo muna kung naaalagaan niyo rin yung husband niyo, bakit tumawid.”
Carmina immediately cut in: “Wait, you’re justifying. I beg to disagree.”
Boy distilled Zoren’s point into a question: “So, tanungin niyo rin ang sarili niyo kung inaalagaan niyo ang mga husband niyo?”
Zoren agreed, adding: “Correct. Otherwise, ang tukso nandiyan, e. Lalo na pag sa social media, may mga private message [PM] iyan, e.”
Boy asked, “Nakakatanggap ka ng private message?”
Carmina answered for him, “Yes, nakakatanggap siya.”
Zoren tried to hedge—“Wait, wait, wait lang”—but Carmina pressed on: “Inamin mo iyon sa akin na nakakatanggap ka ng mga private messages.”
Zoren then clarified his admission about the PM: “Kunwari di mo inaalagaan yung husband mo, e, medyo may tukso, may PM. So, dun na siya simula ng tukso.
“Kasi may mga moments na magiging marupok ang mga lalaki, e.”
Carmina pounced on the opening: “Naging marupok ka na ba?”
He stalled then repeated her question, “Naging marupok na ba ako?”
She teased him for repeating the question: “Kapag inuulit-ulit ang tanong, ibig sabihin parang sinasabi nila, guilty.”
In his defense, Zoren insisted he wasn’t dodging the question, saying: “Hon, minsan you need to digest the question. 'Anong ibig sabihin nito?’”
Boy cut to the chase: “Ikaw ba’y naging marupok in the last 24 years?”
Zoren answered, “Muntik na.”
The celebrity dad of two then credited spiritual intervention for keeping him in line.

Carmina's K-drama obsession
Later in the conversation, the topic shifted to neglect—real or perceived—inside a long marriage.
Boy asked if there were moments when Zoren felt neglected by Carmina.
“Never naman,” Zoren said.
However, he did recall a phase when Carmina was deep into K-dramas.
“When you watch these Koreanovelas for like six hours, eight hours, the next day another eight hours, napapabayaan mo yung husband mo kasi you’re binge-watching.
“Di mo alam yung asawa mo, waiting for you, to have dinner with you.”
Boy asked: “Are you talking about Mina watching K-drama?”
Zoren nodded, before answering: “Well, there was a point na she was addicted to that. Wala ngayon akong makausap.”
Did he complain?
“No, I never did. But I felt like wala akong kausap ‘cause she was stuck on TV.”
Carmina and Zoren’s love story goes back to the year 2000, when their friendship eventually blossomed into romance.
Two years later, they welcomed their twins, Mavy and Cassy, on January 6, 2001, in the United States.
More than a decade after becoming parents, the couple finally tied the knot on November 15, 2012, in a surprise wedding organized by Zoren at Fernbrook Gardens.
