Sa Oh My Gan! podcast ni Ganiel Krishnan sa ABS-CBN News nitong Miyerkules, March 18, 2026, nahingan ng reaksiyon si Sam hinggil sa hiwalayan nila ng aktres.

Ayon sa businessman, ang ilang taon nilang relasyon ni Rhian ay puno ng saya at pagmamahal—mga bagay na hindi raw niya makakalimutan.
Kahit na sila’y nagkahiwalay, nananatili pa rin umano ang respeto ni Sam sa dating nobya, maging sa pamilya nito.
Pahayag niya: "Well, relationships are private and gusto ko sana to keep it to ourselves, but I just wanna say that what me and Rhian had was real and I respect that.
"That was four and a half years of our lives.
"I respect Rhian, I respect her family, but sometimes I think people just grow in different things, grow in different directions and that's what happened."
Dagdag pa niya, "For now, I think the most important is to move forward with dignity and respect."

Tinanong din si Sam tungkol sa mga haka-haka kaugnay sa dahilan ng hiwalayan nila ni Rhian—ang umano’y third party.
Nasangkot ang pangalan ng Filipino-American content creator na si Wil Dasovich, na pinaghihinalaang bagong karelasyon umano ng aktres.

Bagamat walang kumpirmasyon si Sam sa mga espekulasyong ito, sinabi nitong hindi niya personal na kilala si Wil.
Saad niya, "I don’t really know him personally, but I wish him well."
Diretsahan ding tinanong ni Ganiel si Sam kung galit ba siya kay Rhian.
Sagot ni Sam: "Hindi.
“When you truly love someone you don’t try to destroy them when the relationship ends. If anything, you protect them."

Sa kabila ng hiwalayan, marami raw siyang natutunan mula sa kanilang relasyon.
Sabi niya, "Actually, sobrang dami [kong natutunan], nag-mature ako, I’ve learned a lot of myself, about relationships, about partnerships, about respect, trust and self-worth."
Sa ngayon, ine-enjoy umano ni Sam ang kanyang single life at mas pinagtutuunan ng pansin ang kanyang misyon na makatulong sa iba.
Aniya: "Right now, I’m focus on my goals, on my mission.
"I’m back. Kasi sometimes when you fall in love, you focus on one thing, especially in relationship, you tend to forget about your purpose or your mission in life.
" And now I’m single and but I’m not ready to mingle.
"I’m back to my mission, and that’s the most important thing to any individual—to fulfill their mission and purpose in life... to change people's lives, help people.
"I came from nothing, I've been blessed with so much and now, I'm giving back, bringing it forward."
RHIAN ADMITS BREAKUP WITH SAM
Sa panayam sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda ni Rhian noong March 6, kinumpirma niya sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon ang matagal nang usap-usapang hiwalayan nila ni Sam.
Nagwakas daw ang kanilang relasyon noon pang October 2025.
Sa nasabing panayam, itinanggi rin ni Rhian ang napapabalita nila diumanong relasyon ni Will.
Natatawang sabi ni Rhian: “This is one of the most crazy and embarrassing parts of everything that I’ve been reading about myself lately.
"Because it’s so unconnected and I don’t know why anyone would bring him into an issue like this.
“But Wil is my friend. He’s one of my guy friends and he has been for a long time.
"And it’s so embarrassing that he would suddenly come up and people will say…
“I mean, I don’t know what’s the purpose. Like, what’s that for? To slut shame me or to make me look like a cheater?
"Anyway, we’re just friends.
“And sorry to Wil and his family that someone brought you into this.”
