Kinumpirma mismo ni Alexa Ilacad ang pagtatapos ng tambalan nila ni KD Estrada bilang KDLex.
Ngayong Miyerkules, May 13, 2026, naglabas ng opisyal na pahayag ang fandom page ng dalawa, ang KDLex International Sweethearts, upang ianunsiyo ang naging desisyon nina Alexa at KD.

Ayon sa nasabing pahayag, dahil sa "circumstances, external factors, and the people surrounding them," napagdesisyunan ng dalawa na tuluyan nang tuldukan ang kanilang loveteam.
Bagamat tinapos na nila ang kanilang tambalan, nangako ang dalawa sa isa’t isa na mananatili ang kanilang respeto, malasakit, at pagkakaibigan.
Mababasa sa pahayag: "After many heartfelt conversations and with mutual understanding, KDLeX decided to part ways as a love team due to the circumstances, external factors, and the people surrounding them.
"Though their journey as a pairing has come to an end, the respect, care, and friendship between them remain.
"What KDLex shared was genuine, and the happiness and memories they gave to all of us will always be cherished.
"As fans, we will forever treasure the journey we shared together the moments that made us laugh, cry, and hope, as well as the friendships we found along the way. It has truly been a beautiful rollercoaster ride."

Nagpasalamat din ang pamunuan ng fandom page sa lahat ng sumama, sumuporta, at nagpaabot ng pagmamahal kina Alexa at KD.
Saad nila: "To all the Sweethearts, thank you. Thank you for every moment of love, support, laughter, edits, trends, prayers, patience, and understanding you gave them through the years.
"They are deeply grateful for all of you and will always carry that love with them wherever life takes them.
"We hope we can continue to give them the same kindness and support as they move forward individually. Thank you for loving them so sincerely."
Alexa ILACAD expresses gratitude to fans

Sa caption, ipinahayag ng aktres ang matinding pasasalamat sa mga tagahangang walang sawang sumuporta sa kanila ni KD mula pa noong umpisa.
Inalala rin niya ang mga sakripisyo, tawanan, at espesyal na bonding moments na nabuo nila kasama ang fans sa buong panahon ng kanilang tambalan.
Ani Alexa, "I am truly grateful to all the Sweethearts — more than you will ever know.
"I will forever cherish and remember everything you have done for me and KD from the very beginning: the sacrifices, the heartaches, the laughter, and all the beautiful memories and bondings we shared together."
Nagbigay rin ng makahulugang pahayag si Alexa tungkol sa kahalagahan ng respeto sa gitna ng mga pagbabago sa kanilang dalawa.

Matagal nang usap-usapan ang estado ng loveteam nina KD at Alexa matapos mapansing hindi na sila nagkakasama sa mga proyekto.
Ang Kapamilya afternoon series na Pira-pirasong Paraiso noong July 2023 ang huling teleseryeng pinagsamahan nila. Nauna rito ang PETA musical na Walang Aray noong February 2023.

Simula noon ay nagkaroon na sila ng magkakahiwalay na proyekto, bagay na nagbunsod ng espekulasyong nagwakas na ang kanilang tambalan.
Ngunit sa panayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at iba pang miyembro ng entertainment press kay KD noong December 3, 2025, itinanggi pa ng aktor na hiwalay na sila ni Alexa.
