Pinulot Ka Lang Sa Lupa
January 30 - April 12, 2017 (11 weeks)

Pinulot Ka Lang Sa Lupa is the adaptation of the 1987 movie with Julie Anne San Jose, LJ Reyes and Benjamin Alves as the leads. The show's airing date was moved many times: from October to November to January. Unfortunately, the series only ran for 11 weeks and ended last April 12. It will be replaced by D' Originals where LJ is also a cast member.

Case Solved
February 18 - March 25, 2017 (6 episodes)

This weekly show hosted by Dingdong Dantes featured past criminal cases that were eventually solved. After six episodes, this Saturday show aired its season ender last March 25 and was replaced by a Saturday edition of Ika-6 Na Utos.

Iglot
August 29 - November 11, 2011 (11 weeks)

This is one of the most anticipated teleseryes in 2011 since it served as Claudine Barretto's first full-length teleserye on GMA-7. Originally slated to run for 13 weeks or one season, the show was cut short to 11 weeks. Rumors indicated that it was Claudine who had to beg off for the show's run to be shortened. In an interview, actress Sylvia Sanchez said that it was management's decision. Years later, in 2015, Jolina Magdangal admitted that the show was indeed shortened because of Claudine's problems at that time.

Machete
January 24 - March 18, 2011 (8 weeks)

Aljur Abrenica breathed life anew to the popular Pinoy fiction character Machete in GMA's adaptation in 2011. He was given two new leading ladies: Ryza Cenon and Bela Padilla. However, the series had problems with its TV ratings, which why it had to be transferred to a later timeslot. Aljur's former love team partner Kris Bernal was also added to the series. Eventually, Machete ended its run after 8 weeks.

Once Again
May 2 - July 22, 2016 (12 weeks)

This Aljur Abrenica-Janine Gutierrez starrer, which tackled reincarnation, only ran for 12 weeks to accommodate the airing of the much-anticipated Korean drama Descendants of the Sun.

All My Life
June 19 - September 18, 2009 (12 weeks)

Following the success of their afternoon show Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin in 2009, GMA decided to gamble on Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal's tandem. They were immediately given the follow-up series All My Life which aired on the early primetime slot. However, the series did not match the success of their first solo series and ended abruptly on its 12^th week.

Coffee Prince
October 8 - November 23, 2012 (7 weeks)

Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal were reunited in this adaptation of the popular Koreanovela. However, the show only aired for seven weeks. In an interview, Benjamin Alves said that the contract signed for this adaptation was only to run for seven weeks. In the past, GMA's adaptations of Korean dramas were aired for exactly one season.

Kahit Nasaan Ka Man
September 23 - November 15, 2013 (8 weeks)

Starring Julie Anne San Jose and Kristoffer Martin, the series served as a filler in the slot vacated by Anna Karenina, and was only slated to run for eight weeks.

Love & Lies
April 8 - June 7, 2013 (9 weeks)

This last series of Richard Gutierrez in the Kapuso network was only slated to run for nine weeks. Despite some predictions that it might get a full season run because of its impressive pilot week, Love & Lies did not get any extensions and ended just in time when Richard's contract with GMA expired.

Pilyang Kerubin
June 7 - August 7, 2010 (12 weeks)

Barbie Forteza and Joshua Dionisio's tween love team had an impressive ratings performance in their first series First Time. For this reason, GMA decided to give them a follow-up primetime show, the fantasy series Pilyang Kerubin. Adding flair to the show was Elmo Magalona. Unfortunately, the show had to end after 12 weeks to give way to Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Showdown.

Cielo de Angelina
October 22, 2012 - January 4, 2013 (8 weeks)

The first teleserye venture of GMA Films, Cielo de Angelina is also the first teleserye of GMA in the daytime slot after many years, which was the rival of the successful ABS-CBN series Be Careful With My Heart. However, this Bea Binene-Jake Vargas starrer did not match the ratings of its competitor, and had its final episode after eight weeks of airing.

Genesis
October 14 - December 27, 2013 (11 weeks)

This Dingdong Dantes-starrer, which is one of the big-budgeted teleseryes of Kapuso network, only lasted for 11 weeks on the air and was replaced by Kapuso Primetime Cinema.

My Mother's Secret
May 25 - August 7, 2015 (11 weeks)

Kim Rodriguez topbilled this early primetime series together with Gwen Zamora and Kiko Estrada. However, the series did not last long as it ended after 11 weeks and replaced by the Korean drama Reply 1997.

Paraiso Ko'y Ikaw
January 27 - March 28, 2014 (9 weeks)

This early primetime series served as the second team-up of Kim Rodriguez and Kristoffer Martin. However, Paraiso Ko'y Ikaw had to end its run after nine weeks to give way to the airing of the Korean drama My Love From The Star.

Pare & Pare
May 20 - August 12, 2012 (12 episodes)

Pare & Pare is a Sunday talk show hosted by Ogie Alcasid and Michael V., bringing their wit and humor from Bubble Gang. However, after 12 episodes, the show ended its run.

Oh My Mama
September 19 - December 2, 2016 (11 weeks)

The first teleserye of Inah De Belen on GMA only ran for 11 weeks and was replaced by Sunshine Dizon's teleserye Ika-6 Na Utos, which is enjoying high ratings as of the moment.

Take Me Out
April 26 - July 2, 2010 (10 weeks)

Based on an Australian game show, this dating interactive show hosted by Jay-R featured different twists and contestants, even involving celebrities who dated strangers. However, after 10 weeks, the show wrapped up to give way to another game show, Hole In The Wall, which was a hit among Kapuso viewers.

My Daddy Dearest
June 11 - August 17, 2012 (10 weeks)

This show, featuring Ogie Alcasid, Jolina Magdangal, and child star Milkcah Wynne Nacion, aired in an early primetime slot. The show was later on transferred to the 5 p.m. timeslot and aired its finale after 10 weeks.

Binoy Henyo
July 22 - September 20, 2013 (9 weeks)

Sheena Halili topbilled this series along with child star David Remo, who played a smart child. However, the series had to end its run after nine weeks to give way to Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal's teleserye Prinsesa ng Buhay Ko.

Ang Pagbabago
July 10 - September 1, 2006 (8 weeks)

One of the first reality-based shows with a dramatic theme, Ang Pagbabago was hosted by Diana Zubiri and Alfred Vargas and featured people who went through dramatic changes in their lives. However, the show ended abruptly after eight weeks.

Star Box
April 4 - May 13, 2011 (6 weeks)

Star Box was an interactive talk show hosted by Ali Sotto and Papa Jack. Unfortunately, in the middle of the show, the show moved to an earlier timeslot, causing the ratings to suffer. Ali revealed in an interview with Butch Francisco for Starbytes, "Unfortunately, with the move, we lost our target audience and the ratings suffered. Wala na akong laban sa cartoons dahil bakasyon ang mga bata."

Nay-1-1
November 12 - December 28, 2012 (7 weeks)

Nay-1-1 is an infotainment show hosted by Gladys Reyes and Jaya that catered to mothers. However, it ended its run after 7 weeks. According to Gladys, she knows that it is only slated to run for that span of period.
