ABOUT MARILYN MONROES' HOUSE
Sa final interview niya sa Life magazine, aniya, “Anybody who likes my house, I am sure I will get along with.”

Six months matapos niyang lumipat sa kanyang “fortress where I can feel safe from the world,” natagpuang patay si Monroe sa kanyang bedroom noong August 4, 1962.

AN iconic piece of Los Angeles history
Samantala, mala-Marilyn Monroe si Park dahil sa kanyang red lipstick at hairstyle nang ibalita niyang hindi siya nabigong harangin ang balak ng Glory of the Snow Trust.
"What a whirlwind the last 72 hours have been. I am outside of Marilyn Monroe’s iconic bungalow here in Brentwood, and I am really excited to report that today in city council, I led a unanimous and historic vote to stop the impending demolition of this iconic home, and to begin the process of having it designated as an historic and cultural monument in the city of Los Angeles.
"I cannot imagine a person or place more historic or worthy of this designation than Marilyn Monroe and her beautiful Brentwood home.
"I wanna personally say thank you, to the many many hundreds of residents of the city of Los Angeles and people from all over the world, who reached out to me and my office to express their support for saving this iconic piece of Los Angeles history,” ang pahayag ni Park na nakatanggap ng mga papuri dahil sa mabilis niyang pag-aksiyon.
"This is a great win for the time being," ang sabi ni Park sa panayam sa kanya ng Los Angeles Times noong Biyernes, September 8, 2023.
"What is most important about what we achieved today is that this automatically and immediately triggers a temporary stay on all building permits while this matter is under consideration by the cultural heritage commission and the City Council."
