"I wanna personally say thank you, to the many many hundreds of residents of the city of Los Angeles and people from all over the world, who reached out to me and my office to express their support for saving this iconic piece of Los Angeles history,” ang pahayag ni Park na nakatanggap ng mga papuri dahil sa mabilis niyang pag-aksiyon.
"This is a great win for the time being," ang sabi ni Park sa panayam sa kanya ng Los Angeles Times noong Biyernes, September 8, 2023.
"What is most important about what we achieved today is that this automatically and immediately triggers a temporary stay on all building permits while this matter is under consideration by the cultural heritage commission and the City Council."
