Ang lakas ng dating ng tambalan nila ni Kira Balinger sa teleseryeng nag-finale noong Marso 2021.
Akala ko ay magtutuluy-tuloy na ang career niya sa local showbiz. Pero lumipad siya pa-Amerika, at naa-update na lang tayo sa kanyang Instagram posts paminsan-minsan.

“I love New York City. It has so much to offer and so much to learn from. My favorite part is the diverse cultures from all around the world.
“As a creative I draw so much inspiration every waking hour I am in this Great town. I have many friends I bond with and grow with.
“The people here are very honest and don’t have a filter which I love.

Nai-post sa Facebook ng Hollywood correspondent na si Oliver Carnay ang pagganap ni Grae sa bagong dula na Really, Really, na mag-uumpisang itanghal sa Mayo 21, Linggo, at 11:00 a.m. sa Stella Adler Studio of Acting/Art of Acting Studio sa Broadway, New York.
“Yes I am doing Really Really directed by Celeste Moratti, written by Paul Downs Colaizzo starring Grae Fernandez as Cooper, Justin Wooster as Davis, Marcel Parysek Guerrito as Jimmy, Rocco Gagliarducci as Johnson, Arezu Tavakoli as Leigh, Carmen Ezcurra as Grace, Cecilia Wisky as Haley for the Rehearsal Projects of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting,” lahad ni Grae.
“The play is about the struggle for acceptance and survival in an American College setting in the North East in the time of the late 2000’s.
“We had 6 weeks to rehearse and I would say it was a ecstatic time of learning and collaboration with my director and cast mates.
“There is a certain level of discipline and professionalism in the Theater training. We have an open ideology when it comes to acting choices and ideas, no one is left out or unheard.
“We play for the team and only want the very best for the Play.”

Babalikan pa ba ni Grae in the future ang career sa Pilipinas?
“At the moment I am focused on the tasks I have in front of me,” tugon ng aktor.
“But if I were to go back to the Philippines for work I believe I am ready to have a more creative role such as my Great GrandFather the illustrious director and actor Gregorio Fernandez and my Grandfather Action Star and Award Winning Actor and Producer Rudy ‘DABOY’ Fernandez.
“I have learned so much about the art form of storytelling during my stay that I have developed a voice and vision for any work that I am interested in.
“I have gained the knowledge to operate a Creative endeavor.
“I am also interested in the possibility of a future in Politics such as my GrandMother, Chairman of the Philippine board of Councilors and actress Alma Moreno, and my Great Uncle Action Star and Senator of the Philippines Robin Padilla.
“I have a brand new perspective towards the way of life and economics and culture because of American ideals."
Ano pa ang susunod niyang gagawin?
“I flew to New York in September of 2022. I am very excited for the summer because the weather is going to be lovely and fresh.
“I also am looking forward to some rest and relaxation after my school year is done. I am excited about the Future and what it has to offer because I am very open to new possibilities.”

Star on the rise talaga si Grae Fernandez na nakilala bilang kapartner ni Kira Ballinger sa teleseryeng Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin, na streaming sa Netflix.
Definitely kailangang bumalik si Grae sa Pilipinas para ipagpatuloy ang naudlot na career.
Sana, with his creative break in the U.S., makapag-recharge siya at maipagpatuloy ang hilig at husay niya sa harap man o sa likod ng camera.

Noong taong 2022 nag-decide si Grae Fernandez na pumunta ng Amerika para mag-aral ng Film.
Sabi ng ilang taong malapit sa young actor, medyo nakaramdam daw ng pagkabagot si Grae noong halos dalawang taon tayong na-lockdown at naging limitado ang trabaho.
Kaya naisipan daw niyang ituloy ang pag-aaral ng Film sa New York.
Napag-alaman naming bago siya umalis ng Amerika, may alok sa kanya ang GMA-7, pero itinuloy niya ang pag-alis.
Seryoso raw siya sa kanyang pag-aaral sa Amerika.
Itong pagsali niya sa isang stageplay ay requirement sa course niya, at kinakarir daw talaga ito ni Grae.
Kuwento pa sa amin, nakita pa raw ang binata ng Kapamilya reporter na si MJ Felipe sa Times Square na nagtitinda ng tickets ng stageplay nila.
Nagkakuwentuhan daw sila sandali, at tinulungan pa niya si MJ na makabili ng ticket ng stageplay na papanoorin nito.
Hindi pa masabi kung kailan ang balik ni Grae, dahil patuloy pa raw siya sa pag-aaral. Nandiyan pa rin daw ang alok sa kanya ng GMA-7, pati ang ABS-CBN na may show ring nakaplano sa kanya.
Kasama pa rin si Grae sa endorsers ng Bench.
Kaya naniniwala silang may trabaho pa siyang babalikan dito.
