Sina Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, at Joey de Leon ang tatlo pang iconic comedians na pagpupugayan sa closing ceremony ng 3rd Philippine Film Industry Month (PFIM) sa Setyembre 29, 2023.
“Tuloy Pa Rin Ang Tawanan” ang tema ng month-long celebration ng 3rd PFIM.
Sa mediacon noong Agosto 17 sa Relish restaurant, Sct. Limbaga St., Quezon City, inihayag nina Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) Chairman Tirso Cruz III at Direk Jose Javier Reyes (technical consultant ng FDCP) ang mga kabilang sa pararangalan. Ang mga ito ay sina Dolphy, Vice Ganda, Michael V, Ai-Ai delas Alas, at Eugene Domingo.
Merong tatlo pang ia-announce nila later on — ang TVJ nga.

Natanggap ng PEP Troika ang official announcement via email ngayong Agosto 29, 2023, Martes… isang buwan bago ang seremonya.
Exciting kung magsasama-sama sa entablado ang TVJ ng E.A.T. (TV5), Vice Ganda ng It’s Showtime (GTV), at Michael V ng Bubble Gang (GMA 7).
Doon pa lang sa paggi-guest ni Michael V sa birthday celebration ni Ogie Alcasid noong Agosto 19 sa It’s Showtime, andami nang na-excite sa pictures together nina Michael V at Vice, di ba?!
What more kung nasa isa pang picture sila with Tito, Vic & Joey?!

Ang citation ng FDCP sa TVJ, “Continuously standing the test of time is the trio of Tito and Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon, collectively known as the TVJ.

Ang opening ceremony ng 3rd PFIM ay sa Setyembre 1, Biyernes ng 5:00 p.m., sa Red Carpet Shangri-La Plaza Cinema 1, Mandaluyong City.
Ang programa ay iho-host ng stand-up comedian na si James Caraan, at meron ding free screening ng Home Along Da Riles Da Movie (1993) na pinagbidahan ng yumaong King of Comedy na si Dolphy.
Ang nasabing movie ay idinirek ni Johnny Manahan, at kasama sa cast sina Nova Villa, Claudine Barretto, Smokey Manaloto, Vandolph, Gio Alvarez, Maybelyn dela Cruz, Freddie Quizon, Eddie Gutierrez, Babalu, Bernardo Bernardo, Cita Astals, at Jeannette Fernando.
Sa Setyembre 5, Martes, ang Sine Halakhak open air screening sa Luneta o Rizal Open Air Auditorium. Libreng mapapanood dito ang Ang Tanging Ina ni Ai-Ai delas Alas, at Here Comes the Bride nina Eugene Domingo at Angelica Panganiban.
Setyembre 6-28 ang Cinematheque Screenings and Film Talks. FDCP Cinematheque Centres Nationwide will host the screenings of the films under the Sine Halakhak banner, along with this year’s lineup of Sine Kabataan short films, to make them available to not just the audiences in Metro Manila but also those in the regions.
Kabilang sa mga pelikulang ipapalabas sa FDCP Cinematheque Centres ang mga sumusunod: Daddy O, Baby O!, Ang Tanging Ina, Kimmy Dora, Here Comes the Bride, Isprikitik Walastik, Mr. Suave, D'Lucky Ones, Ang Mga Kidnapper ni Ronnie Lazaro, Ang Pangarap Kong Holdap, Ang Babae sa Septic Tank, Die Beautiful, Petrang Kabayo, Ang Tatay kong Nanay.
Talkback sessions on Philippine Comedy Films are also set to be conducted to delve more into our understanding of the art and how humor and laughter go beyond the entertainment value it serves for each generation of Filipinos.
