There are the millennial IT Girls Anne Curtis, Solenn Heussaff, Isabelle Daza, and Georgina Wilson and there is the Kapuso beach babe clique composed of Michelle Dee, Rhian Ramos, Max Collins, and Janina Manipol,
Now here comes their Gen Z equivalent that is equally drawing attention and support from the public.
They are the ABCD Girls, so called using the first letter of their individual names: Andrea Brillantes, Bea Borres, Criza Taa, and Danica Ontengco.
ABCD Girls 101: The History
The four girls have been acquainted as a unit through the 2018 hit Kapamilya series Kadenang Ginto, where Andrea played the lead antagonist role as Margaret “Marga” Mondragon-Bartolome.
In the series, Marga finds herself a group of friends in Maureen (Bea Borres’s character) and Nadya (Danica Ontengco’s character), who support her evil schemes.
Meanwhile, Criza Taa, fresh from the renowned reality TV show Pinoy Big Brother, made her teleserye debut in the show as Roxanne.

Andrea Brillantes
Birthday: March 12, 2023
Ramona Anndrew Blythe Daguio Gorostiza, professionally known as Andrea Brillantes, is arguably the most influential among the four, with over 19.7 million followers on TikTok, 17 million followers on Facebook, and 14 million followers on Instagram.
Starting out as a child star at five years old, Andrea has already starred in 12 films and over 30 TV series appearances.
She had stated in a vlog how she has experienced friendship fallouts over the years, but has always been thankful to the ABCD girls for staying by her side.
The girls regrouped after Andrea’s high-profile breakup with basketball star Ricci Rivero.
Inspired by her idol, beauty mogul Kylie Jenner, Andrea also launched her own makeup line Lucky Beauty in February 2023, at the age of 20.

Bea Borres
Birthday: January 2, 2023
Bea Borres is currently pursuing her college studies at the Ateneo de Manila University.
In the group, she stands out as the member who is into the coquette aesthetic, as opposed to the three’s laidback and streetwear style.
The 20-year-old has admitted her penchant for younger guys, a side of her that ABCD girls refer to as Bea's "inner kink."
She rationalizes this attraction as caused by her Alpha female persona.
Bea also proclaims that she is the certified "baby" of the group who gets and needs the most amount of advice from her friends especially when it comes to matters of the heart.

Criza Taa
Birthday: September 13, 2004
The bunso of the group, Criza Taa, was one of the fan favorites in the first chapter of Pinoy Big Brother 8 in 2018.
Although friends and followers find her a "darling," Criza has her feisty side that was most evident during her PBB days.
Even in their group vlogs, Criza exhibits characteristics of a headstrong individual, earning her the position as the ‘dad of the group.’
On TikTok, Criza is gaining traction as a "GRWM [Get Ready With Me] Queen," flaunting a versatile range of makeup looks depending on her agenda for the day.
Some of her looks have been likened to celebrities Anne Curtis, Kelsey Merritt, Max Collins, and Ivana Alawi.

Danica Ontengco
Birthday: September 13, 2000
Identifying herself as a content creator, Danica Ontengco, once expressed in her vlog that her dream was to become a supermodel like Kendall Jenner.
Although she possesses an editorial-looking face and a slender figure, Danica has felt that her being petite would be a hindrance to her aspiration as a supermodel.
In the ABCD squad, Danica, who comes from a wealthy family, is said to be the most frugal among them. She is also more soft-spoken than the rest of them.
Considered as the mom of the group, Danica is at home with kitchen affairs.
She also shows a passion for nature, especially the seas, as an avid surfer and beach babe.

ABCD COLLABORATIONS IN 2023
As a unit, the ABCD girls peaked in 2023 with a series of collaborative vlogs on their individual YouTube channels.
From cooking sessions, to games of jenga, "never have I ever," and "date or pass," to a prank video, the quartet have shown their undeniable chemistry, living up to the new generation's #SquadGoals.
The highlight of their year came on Halloween when they dressed up as the iconic Mean Girls from the classic eponymous 2004 film.
Criza played the movie's protagonist Cady Heron while Andrea portrayed the main antagonist Regina George.
Gossiper Gretchen Wieners and 'dumb blone' Karen Shetty were personified by Danica and Bea, respectively.
ABCD RUMORED FALLOUT
Soon after Andrea was dragged into the KathNiel (Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla) breakup, fans immediately checked on Bea, Criza, and Danica to seek statements of confirmation, clarification, or support.
While Criza and Danica kept mum during the entire period the issue broke out, Bea was caught in several videos and tweets defending her best friend Andrea.
Rumors had it that both Criza and Danica had distanced themselves from Andrea, signalling a friendship fallout.
On March 13, 2024, Danica refuted these claims when she uploaded a throwback vlog of her trip to Bali, Indonesia with Andrea and Bea.
Their strong friendship was further proven on Andrea's 21st birthday celebration on a yacht when the three of them took adorable snaps together.
On the flip side, followers of the group were disheartened to observe Criza's absence at the star-studded party.
Despite this, some fans remain optimistic about the group's bond, noting Criza's continued use of Lucky Beauty products in her GRWM videos.
