The merging of the beauty and showbiz worlds has never been more evident than today, with a number of celebrities not just collaborating with existing brands but even building their own makeup companies.
As options for celebrity-made makeup collections continue to grow, here is a list of celebrities and products that showbiz fans have been raving about:
Kris Aquino
Early this year, Kris partnered up with local beauty brand Ever Bilena to create the Kris Life Kits.
Her makeup line with Ever Bilena focused mainly on the "pang-kilay" makeup as Kris lives by the beauty mantra that "kilay is life."
She underlined in one of her vlogs, "Basta nakakilay ka, na-frame na yung mukha mo. Maganda ka na. Promise."
Anne Curtis
She was one of the first celebrities to enter the beauty world armed with her self-made beauty brand.
The It's Showtime host wanted to prove that "beauty can uncomplicated," and that's why the actress/host/concert performer came up with BLK Cosmetics.
Anne is the co-founder and serves as the creative director for the brand.
Vice Ganda
Vice had an ambitious campaign for his eponymous makeup line VICE Cosmetics. It's called #GandaForAll, which is the Unkabogable Phenomenal star's successful attempt to show that beauty should promote diversity and inclusivity.
The initial success of his lipstick collection was compared to the likes of Kylie Jenner and her lip kit, but Vice begged to differ.
He told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), "Vice Ganda is larger than life. He's flamboyant. He's different. He's eksaherada! O.A. siya.
"Vice Ganda is not ordinary. He's not the typical. He's unkabogable. He's phenomenal."
In another interview, Vice's friend Dr. Vicki Belo revealed that Vice Cosmetics was able to sell a year's supply of lipsticks in just one month!
Heart Evangelista
Happy Skin have collaborated with two celebrities to create new makeup lines.
The first beauty collaboration was done with Heart, who had a penchant for red lipsticks.
Last July, they relaunched their limited-edition products, turning two of Heart's lip liners into full sized lipsticks.
Kathryn Bernardo
Then just this month, the local beauty brand also paved the way for Kathryn to live her dream of creating her own makeup line.
Nadine Lustre
In collaboration with BYS Philippines, Nadine made a 12-piece sea gypsy and tropical-inspired makeup collection.
It took inspiration from the star's photo collection of beaches and the vivid colorful art of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo.
Angie King and Joey Mead King
The Kings marked this year's Pride Month with the release of their makeup collaboration with local brand Colourette Cosmetics.
Speaking to Preview.ph, Joey and Angie wanted to make sure that their collection of lip and cheek tints celebrated "duality and diversity."
It was a project that Angie specially hoped would "encourage others to be strong [and] confident, and to love oneself."
