Kathryn Bernardo's beauty easily stood out at the ABS-CBN Ball 2019 happening tonight, September 14, at the grand ballroom of Shangri-La at the Fort in Bonifacio Global City.
The Queen of Record-Breaking Movies donned a dazzling Filipiniana-inspired gown made by Dubai-based Filipino fashion designer Michael Cinco.
Kathryn walked the red carpet with her reel-turned-real-life partner Daniel Padilla.
In her interview with Raymond Gutierrez for the Metro channel, Kathryn explained why she went for a fuschia pink Filipianiana for the ball.
She said, "Michael chose this color for me because for the past few years sa ball, palagi akong nude or white. And para naman maiba, color pink and also, meron siyang indigenous print, Philippine indigenous print para mas mas Pinoy but then, with a twist because he used Swarovski crystals."
Celebrity stylist Jan Aranilla helped Kathryn dress up for the event.
Meanwhile, Kathryn's glam squad included Justine del Rosario for make-up and Chris Rodil for hair.
On August 10, Kathryn went to see the haute couture designer at his atelier in Dubai for her gown measurements while she was there for the premiere of her movie Hello, Love, Goodbye.
This year, ABS-CBN aims to raise funds for the benefit of Bantay Bata 163 and their Bantay Edukasyon Program "to help the children reach their dreams."
