There is no doubt that Bea Alonzo remains one of the most bankable A-listers in showbiz today.
A celebrated actress with a career spanning more than 20 years, a trusted endorser, and an entrepreneur with multiple businesses under her wing, she has it all.
But 2024 started rough for Bea.
In February, news of her breakup with Dominic Roque topped the headlines.

Then in May, the 37-year-old actress filed cyberlibel cases against two online entertainment writers.
The following month, Bea snubbed the premiere night of 1521, a historical movie where she starred alongside Hollywood actor Danny Trejo. The film’s production was rife with issues, and the producer later apologized to Bea for accusing her of making unreasonable demands.
But, it seems, Bea did not miss a beat. It can even be said that surviving these controversies is a testament to her star power.

bringing in ratings and views for widows' war
Bea currently topbills Widows' War, a top-rating murder mystery drama series in the Kapuso network. Critics have praised her acting in the show.
Aside from strong TV ratings, Widows' War also earns high viewership on YouTube. Episode 95 currently has more than 700,000 views at press time.
Widows' War is proof that Bea is still a big draw after her transfer from her original network, ABS-CBN, to the rival network, GMA-7.
This contradicts her naysayers, who sounded the alarm bells when her 2023 drama series, Love Before Sunrise, ended without much fanfare in December of 2023.
And she is among the rare few female leads who have remained a prime-time TV staple from late last year to the present.

strong online following
Bea is also a big figure online, with millions following her on social media.
She is part of an elite set of Filipino female celebrities with more than 10 million followers online: 11.6 million on Instagram; 4 million on Facebook; and nearly a million on TikTok.
Bea connects with her fans on these social media pages. She shares moments about her life, keeping her fans engaged. Her Instagram post of her birthday celebration weeks ago, for example, has more than 126,000 likes.
She also talks about the causes and advocacies dear to her heart.
For her birthday, Bea hosted a party for persons with disabilities at Tahanang Walang Hagdan in Cainta, Rizal. She has posted a video of the fun celebration.
trusted endorser
Bea's Instagram account is also filled with posts about the brands that continue to trust her.
To date, her endorsements are a varied set—from beauty products, to vitamins, to banks, to real estate and more.
By our count, Bea currently has 11 active endorsements: Poten-Cee, Oppo, BEAUTÉDERM, BPI, Olay, Cetaphil Bright Healthy Radiance, DISCOVER GROUP, Executive Optival, Aivee Clinic, Head & Shoulders, and Sta. Lucia Land, Inc.
Bea also promotes BASH, her own brand of travel bags and luggage that she launched in November 2023.
“BASH is a passion project of mine,” she said in a post around its launch. “I had a vision to create a brand that enhances travelers' experiences.
"Throughout my career, I've been fortunate to explore various destinations, and each journey has left a lasting impression on me.
"I wanted to create a brand that not only encapsulates the spirit of exploration but also provides practical and stylish solutions for travelers.”
beati firma: BEA'S PERSONAL SANCTUARY
Aside from BASH, Bea is mighty proud of Beati Firma, her 16-hectare farm enterprise in Zambales.

Beati Firma is her personal sanctuary, a self-sustaining farm that harks to sustainability and resilience.

“In the beginning, raw land lang ito,” she told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in a recent interview, revealing that she bought the land in 2011.
“Galing siya ng isang wildfire, and then there was just one tree that actually was able to withstand all the chaos and the wildfire.
"It reminded me of myself—how I can survive everything."
And in 2024, Bea didn’t just survive. She thrived. She proved to all, including the naysayers who are never far from celebrity, that she can hold her own. She will shine.
