Amid the hustle and bustle of life after leaving the Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition house in June, Shuvee Etrata found the brakes to pause and invest in something that would carry her through the next leg of her journey.

On September 19, 2025, Shuvee shared the milestone through her Instagram stories, proudly standing beside her sleek white SUV.

“More than a car, it’s a dream come true,” she wrote.

A second caption revealed just how much the purchase means to her: “Brb, crying cause I finally got my first car.”

Meanwhile, she left a message of encouragement to her fellow breadwinners on Facebook: “Laban mga breadwinners. Kung kaya ko, kaya mo rin.”

The car model in question is a white Ford Everest Trend—a mid-size SUV with a starting price of PHP1,849,000.

Price for its 2023-2024 editions range from PHP1,400,000 to PHP1,800,000 and for its 2018-2022 editions from PHP800,000–PHP1,500,000, according to online car marketplace.

Season of Investments

This SUV isn’t the only big-ticket item in Shuvee’s garage of accomplishments. Just weeks prior, she revealed in an interview that she purchased an 800-square-meter land.

She told PEP on August 18—at the Vivienne Vanity Lounge ambassador launch—that construction is already underway.

"I'm actually starting it na po. A house for my siblings in Cebu... and a house for my family in Mindanao.

"That's a prio po talaga so yun yung pinakaunang... pinakaunang brand, pinakaunang endorsement na magbabayad, dun agad siya mapupunta."

When asked if working on two houses means "doble kayod," Shuvee laughed, but gave an earnest answer.

"Triple, quadruple! Lahat na po—para kasi marami, kasi walo kaya sila."

Shuvee explained that purchasing land over luxury items is her main way of rewarding herself.

"Parang yun yung ano ko... yun yung hindi ako nasasayahan magbili ng mga heels-heels.

"Kasi tag-1,500 [pesos] na heels okey naman sa akin, pati 800 na heels. Basta magamit lang.

"Ngayon talaga, medyo mabigat sa akin pag bumibili ng PHP50K or more than na, na, na [damit].

"Ang sa akin na lang, ibibilhin ko iyan ng lupa. Mura lang lupa, so mas lupa po ako ngayon and mas more on saving."

On top of all this, she is also slated to appear in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry Call Me Mother, alongside Vice Ganda and Nadine Lustre, as well as the horror film Huwag Kang Titingin.

It’s clear her career is cruising on all cylinders.
