Contrary to what was expected, Captain Lia Mante was not killed in the series.
The episode highlighted Coco Martin's character Cardo and Lia's team-up to avenge the death of Audrey (Aya Fernandez), Lia's sister.
Cardo was able to kill Enrique Vera (Simon Ibarra), the man responsible for Audrey's death after Lia's dad, Fernando (Christian Vasquez), cut his hand.
Lia's family—including her dad and mom Amalia (Cristina Gonzales)—decided to leave the Philippines as the Black Ops led by Geoff Eigenmann might soon investigate the death of Enrique.
Lia then bid her goodbyes to Cardo and Task Force Agila, and thanked them for helping her avenge her sister.
The episode marked the last appearance of Jane in the series.
In July 2021, ABS-CBN announced that Jane is about to exit the show as she is set to start her taping for Darna: The TV Series, where she assumes the title role.
Jane joined the prime-time series in January 2021.
ANG PROBINSYANO'S NEW CHAPTER
Based on the teaser aired on August 20, FPJ's Ang Probinsyano is entering a new chapter beginning Monday, August 23.
The teaser shows Cardo and Task Force Agila going to Ilocos to hide from the people who want them dead.
As they look for a new hideout, Cardo bumps into a new character named Mara, who will be portrayed by Julia Montes.
Mara is introduced through a question: "Kasangga o Kabangga?"
The new chapter of FPJ's Ang Probinsyano coincides with its sixth anniversary this September 2021.
New characters, such as Joseph Marco, Rosanna Roces, and John Estrada, are said to be joining the cast.
