Ayon kay Piolo, “I’m leaving in November, the whole month of November with Jericho Rosales in the U.S. and Canada.”

“I’m just excited because we’ve been friends for a long time.

"We’ve toured with Hunks for five years, and now after 15 years, we’re doing this tour, like a homecoming for us because these are the same people that we grew up with, watching us on tours.

“So I’m just really excited na tumanda na rin silang kasama namin.”

Narito ang schedule ng Piolo Pascual and Jericho Rosales USA/Can 2022:

  • November 4: Vancouver
  • November 5, Calgary, Alberta
  • November 12: Houston, Texas
  • November 13: Sacramento, California

CREATING CONTENTS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Para naman kay Piolo, “People have to work and people have talents so, especially for the new guys, there’s a lot of options.

"There are a lot of streaming platforms that need content. So it’s high time for us to produce, it’s high time for us to create contents that will make a difference.”

On a serious note, sabi niya, “As a producer, we become strict in terms of content creation because it’s not about making money, but it’s about making something worthwhile, especially for films, especially for series.

“Like when I did Flower of Evil, even if it was hard, it was worth it because it will make a difference, and for me as a producer, it’s important to showcase Filipino talents.

“And we’ve been talking to different platforms. When we were in Singapore, Amazon was interested to partner up with us. Netflix was also interested and also VIU.

“This is the right time to create something different, something big, and to showcase Filipino talents in international scene.”

Tugon ni Piolo, “Ever since the pandemic, I’ve always known it would be hard to get back to the cinemas.

NOOD KA MUNA!

"But I was talking to my Dad, Tito Pip [Tirso Cruz III] sa FDCP [Film Development Council of the Philippines], sabi ko, 'Whatever support you need from me, from my peers, my contemporaries, we’re willing to help.'

“And, hopefully, we’ll get back on our feet. But, cinema-wise, I still doubt it will come back anytime soon.

"That’s why we’re focusing on streaming platform, which is not exactly different from a movie experience.

“But I’m a film lover and I want to see that again, hopefully, if we get to do films, bumalik yung gusto ng tao sa cinema.”
