Anji Salvacion initially answered “Harry Styles,” when asked about the star she wishes to work with.
Smiling, she said “Maging ambitious tayo.”
The Philippine Star assistant editor Nathalie Tomada made a follow-up question: “Aside from abroad, local naman tayo…parang interesting to work with?”
The Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10 winner paused then answered, "Puwede si Enrique Gil?
"Huwag na nga lang baka ma-bash ako rito.”
But since she already mentioned his name, she went on to say that she seldom bumps into him even if they are both contract stars of ABS-CBN.
"Alam mo palagi siyang nasa ABS-CBN, pero hindi ko siya nakikita. So unfair! Nandoon din siya sa ASAP the last time daw, pero hindi ko siya naabutan.”
But anticipating the possible reaction of die-hard fans of LizQuen, the moniker of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil's love team, she added, "Sobrang fan ako ng LizQuen even way before."
Admittedly, she used to have a crush on Enrique.
"...mas nauna kong nakilala actually si Enrique Gil from Princess & I [2012] tapos doon ko siya naging crush noong nagpakalbo siya, naging shaolin siya.
“Sabi ko, ‘Hala, ang pogi niya pa rin.' So crush ko pa rin siya kahit kalbo siya doon.”
She was then 10 years old.

And during her one-on-one interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) executive editor Karen Caliwara, she clarified, “I just answered po, ha. It’s not like I said, ‘I want to work with him.’
"Fan din ako ng LizQuen as I said kanina kaya I’m careful.”
But Quen, Enrique’s nickname, is currently on his own given that Liza is on her way to making it big in Hollywood.
