In a dazzling affair last night, March 26, 2024,The Theatre - Solaire Resort & Casino hosted the much-awaited gala premiere of Miss Saigon.

Drawing in a crowd of distinguished guests, including seasoned theater stars renowned for their performances in previous Miss Saigon productions, the event was alive with anticipation.
Jamie Rivera, who played the lead character Kim from 1991 to 1993 in London's West End run, was excited for the Gen Zs.
She told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), "Yung ginawa namin dati, makikita namin uli, pero iba na.
"And I'm very happy for the new generation kasi na-experience ulit nila yung Miss Saigon."
Jenine Desiderio, who joined the original cast in 1989 as Yvette then "eventually took over the role of Kim," said the current production will be an "evolved version of what we used to do before."

On Instagram, he further wrote, "I was awestruck by Abigail Adriano’s portrayal of Kim. Sobrang heartfelt ng singing niya. Tuwing bubuksan niya yung bibig niya, natutulala na lang ako."

As the timeless narrative unfolded, interweaving themes of love, sacrifice, and resilience against the backdrop of war-torn Vietnam, guests were transported into a realm of poignant storytelling and captivating performances.
The electric atmosphere in the theater bore testament to the production's profound ability to enrapture hearts and minds alike.
The production will be on the Solaire stage until May 12, 2024.
