Patuloy ang pagbuhos ng pakikiramay sa mga naiwan ng yumaong multi-awarded actress na si Jaclyn Jose—mula sa kanyang pamilya, malalapit na kaibigan, at mga nakatrabaho sa showbiz industry.

Sumakabilang buhay si Jaclyn, sa edad na 60, sa kanya mismong tahanan sa Marikina City noong March 2, 2024.

Ikinagulat at ikinalungkot ito ng marami. Kabilang sa ngayo'y nagluluksa ang dating child actor na si Tom Taus.

Kabilang si Tom sa bumisita sa burol ni Jaclyn sa Arlington Chapels sa Araneta Avenue, Quezon City, noong March 6, para magbigay-pugay sa itinuturing niyang nanay-nanayan sa showbiz.

Nakasama ni Tom si Jaclyn sa Star Cinema film na Cedie: Ang Munting Prinsipe na ipinalabas noong 1996.

Ito ang Pinoy movie version ng Tagalized animé series na Shoukoushi Cedie o Little Prince Cedie at Little Lord Fauntleroy sa Ingles.

Sa nasabing pelikula, gumanap si Tom bilang bidang si Cedie. Si Jaclyn naman ang nagbigay-buhay sa karakter ni Annie, ang ina ni Cedie.

Tom Taus honors Jaclyn Jose

Sa panayam ni Tom sa ABS-CBN News, inalala niya ang masasayang bonding moments nila ng premyadong aktres sa shooting ng kanilang pelikula.

Kahit 10 years old pa lang noon si Tom, nakita na raw niya ang dedikasyon ni Jaclyn sa trabaho bilang aktres.

Sabi ni Tom, "She’s very calming. She has a very soothing voice, a motherly voice. I really find comfort in her. She played my mom and she’s very kind to me."

Sa dami raw ng iconic roles at outstanding performances ni Jaclyn sa ilang dekada nitong pamamayagpag sa showbiz, nakatitiyak daw si Tom na nawala man ito sa mundo, ang alaala at legasiya ng aktres ay hindi na mabubura't makalilimutan kailanman.

Saad ni Tom, "She definitely won’t be forgotten.

"She’s gonna be going down to history as one of the legendary actresses that we’ve ever had.

"Thank you for your work as well that you gave to our people."
