Nahuli na si dating Police Major Allan de Castro, ang prime suspect sa pagkawala ng beauty-pageant contestant na si Catherine Camilon.
Bukod kay De Castro, nahuli rin ang driver-bodyguard nitong si Jeffrey Magpantay.
Ayon sa Batangas Provincial Office Region 4-A, nahuli ng mga pulis mula sa Balayan Municipal Police Station ang dalawang pangunahing suspek sa pagkawala ni Camilon.

ALLAN DE CASTRO, NO. 1 MOST WANTED IN BATANGAS
Si De Castro ay itinuturing ding No. 1 most wanted person sa regional level.
Nahuli siya at si Magpantay sa Brgy. Caloocan, Balayan, Batangas, noong September 14, 2024.

Nakasaad sa inilabas na pahayag ng pulisya: "The police operation was conducted under the directive of PRO 4A Regional Director, PBGEN PAUL KENNETH T LUCAS, and under the supervision of Acting Provincial Director, PCOL JACINTO R MALINAO, JR, who ordered the creation of Special Intelligence and Tracker Team (SITT) upon the receipt of Warrant of Arrest and for the immediate apprehension of the suspects involved in the disappearance of Camilon.
"As a background, the arrested individuals, who were identified as Jeffrey Ariola Magpantay a.k.a. Jepoy, a 34-year-old male resident of Brgy. San Roque, Rosario, Batangas, and Allan Avena De Castro a.k.a. Allan, a 40-year-old male resident of Brgy. Tuyon-tuyon, Tuy, Batangas, were the primary suspects in the disappearance of former beauty queen Catherine Camilon, who was last seen on October 12, 2023.
"They voluntarily surrendered to authorities after formal charges were filed against them on November 13, 2023; however, they were released when the Regional Prosecutor's Office dismissed the case due to insufficient evidence."
Matapos madismis ang kaso, naghain ng motion for reconsideration ang mga kaanak ni Camilon at binaligtad ng huwes ang naunang desisyon.
Naglabas ang hukuman ng warrant of arrest para kina De Castro at Magpantay, at wala itong kaakibat na piyansa.
Dagdag pa sa pahayag, "A motion for reconsideration was filed on May 23, 2024, which was then granted on August 15, 2024. Said motion for reconsideration was approved by Hon. Dulce M Ricafort-Fuller, Deputy City Prosecutor, Office of the Regional Prosecutor IV, San Pablo, Laguna. Thereafter, a Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Kidnapping and Serious Illegal Detention (Art. 267 of the RPC) as amended by RA 18 and RA 1084, was issued with CC No. 24-32377 on September 4, 2024, by Hon. Jacqueline Hernandez Balmes of RTC Branch 3, Batangas City, with No Bail recommended thereby placing the suspects as the Number 1 Most Wanted Persons in the CALABARZON region."
Sabi naman ni Police Brigadier General Paul Kenneth Lucas, regional director ng Police Provincial Office Region 4-A, "This accomplishment brings us closer to a major breakthrough in the pursuit of truth, ultimately leading to the resolution of the Camilon case.”
Kasalukuyang nakapiit sa custodial facility sa Balayan, Batangas, sina De Castro at Magpantay.
October 12, 2023 pa napaulat ang tungkol sa pagkawala ng Miss Grand Philippines 2023 candidate at Grade 9 teacher na si Catherine Camilon.
Hanggang ngayon ay walang impormasyon kung saan ang kanyang kinaroroonan, at kung bahay pa siya o patay na.
