Kyline Alcantara reveals that she is currently choosing to stay single as she continues focusing on self-growth and personal improvement.
During her sit-down interview with Nelson Canlas for 24 Oras, the Sparkle actress candidly confesses that romance is not her priority at the moment.
“I'm self-improving pa,” Kyline says.
When asked if she is still single, the actress confirms with a smile, “Oo, doon muna po tayo.”
Kyline admits that she tends to give her all whenever she falls in love, which is why she now wants to pour that same energy into herself first.
“Huwag muna, Lord. Please, Lord,” she says jokingly.
“And then when I love, I really love a person.
"'Cause I feel like I have too much love to give, so I just keep on giving, giving, and giving. So, ako na muna.”

Kyline wants to focus on herself first
The actress further explains that she does not want to pressure herself when it comes to relationships and life decisions.
“Sa akin muna lahat. I'm still young,” Kyline says.
“Actually, it's a paradox whenever I say I'm still young kasi. I'm still young, so I should be able to experience a lot of things. I'm allowed to fail still.
“I'm allowing myself to make more mistakes, but at the same time, I'm still young, so I shouldn't hurry.”
Kyline is also asked whether she still sees herself dating another public personality in the future.
The actress previously dated actor-host Mavy Legaspi before entering a relationship with basketball player Kobe Paras, who publicly confirmed their relationship in November 2024.
Kyline was also romantically linked to presidentiial son and congressman Sandro Marcos.

Asked if she is open to dating another public figure again, Kyline laughs before answering honestly.
“With a public personality? Um, hindi ko po alam. Honestly, hindi ko po alam. Depende kung sino po ang ibibigay ng Panginoong Diyos.”
She also hints that her decision to focus on self-improvement may be tied to wanting a more private love life moving forward.
“Maybe that's the reason why I'm self-improving. Perhaps, yeah. 'Cause parang masyado na pong out there.
“I mean, I know that we're public figures, but we are not public property.
“Kung may mangyayari man in the near future sa aking love life, siguro pang sa akin po muna yun. Hindi ko na siya ipa-publicize that much.”
At 23 years old, Kyline remains one of Sparkle’s most recognizable young actresses, known for her breakout performances in Kambal, Karibal, Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit, and Shining Inheritance.
She is now part of the cast of the upcoming Kapuso action-drama series Task Force Firewall.
