Following their dreamy garden civil wedding, Kapuso actress Rere Madrid shared a heartfelt message for her husband, Gilas Pilipinas player Kai Sotto.
On Wednesday evening, May 27, 2026, the celebrity couple surprised fans after wedding snippets were posted on Instagram.

Two days later, Rere opened up about how getting married and finding true love had always been one of her biggest dreams.
She said: "Even before, pangarap ko na talagang ikasal.
"I still remember nung 18th birthday ko, tinanong ako kung anong theme yung gusto ko for my debut, and I said gusto ko parang bride yung vibe."

Rere added that she never expected to fulfill one of her biggest dreams at the age of 25 through Kai.
She wrote: "Even back then, alam ko na hindi madaling makahanap ng totoong pagmamahal.
"That’s why I never expected na at 25, ikaw pala yung tutupad sa isa sa biggest dreams ko."
RERE TO KAI: "Habang buhay kong hahawakan yung kamay mo."
Rere also thanked Kai for turning her dream—one she once thought was impossible—into a reality.
She stated, "Thank you mahal, because you made something real that I once thought was impossible for me.
"Thank you kasi araw-araw mong pinaparamdam sakin kung gaano mo ako kamahal."

The actress admitted that there were moments when things felt unclear, but Kai never allowed their relationship to fall apart.
"Thank you for never letting our relationship fall apart, even during the days when everything starts to feel unclear.
"Thank you for always reassuring me, for building my trust, and for accepting me wholeheartedly."
Toward the end of her message, Rere promised to hold Kai’s hand for the rest of their lives, no matter what challenges they may face together.
"Ang dami pa nating pagdadaanan together — beautiful moments, hard days, and everything in between.
"But one thing I promise you is this: habang buhay kong hahawakan yung kamay mo.
"No matter where life takes us, gusto ko tayo pa rin yung magkasamang haharap sa lahat," Rere swore.

She added, "Ito muna siguro for now hehe, yung iba next time nalang. But I loved you even before, and I know I’ll continue to love you more and more habang buhay."
Rere and Kai first made their relationship public when they attended the GMA Gala together in July 2024.
In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Rere admitted that she is very happy with her love life.
