Wilbert Ross has addressed rumors linking him to Filipino fashion designer Paul Cabral after a netizen asked about their alleged connection on social media.
On October 8, 2026, Wilbert responds to a post on X that read, “Totoo ba chismis kay Paul Cab/ral at Wil/bert Ross? Omg.”
The actor-singer abruptly and firmly dismisses the rumor with two replies.
“Jusko, lahat na lang, inasar yan sakin ni Ganda kase crush crush daw ako ni Paul that time dahil maganda daw boses ko,” he writes, referring to Vice Ganda's previous teasing about the designer supposedly having a crush on him because of his voice.
Wilbert addresses the speculation in a separate post as well, where he described Paul as a good friend.
“Mamu is a good friend kaya tigilan niyo kakaissue,” he explains.
“I hangout regularly kasama mga friends ni Motherdear ng walang ka malisya malisya at lahat sila marespeto kaya di ako naiilang sa kanila kahit pa makasama ko sa bahay.”
His remarks clarified the context behind the rumors and pushed back against the assumptions surrounding his friendship with the designer.
