Jihan Dimachk of Tanzania emerges as the winner of the 14th edition of Miss Grand International, held tonight, October 10, 2026, at MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand.

She succeeds Miss Grand International 2025 Emma Mary Tiglao of the Philippines, who made history last year when she secured the crown for the country following fellow Filipina Christine Juliane Opiaza’s victory in 2024.

The newly crowned queen bests candidates from around the world in the competition, which features multiple elimination rounds leading to the final stage.

Her victory ends the Philippines’ bid for a third consecutive Miss Grand International crown, following the back-to-back wins of Opiaza and Tiglao.

Miss Grand International 2026's winning answer

During the final question-and-answer portion, the Top 5 candidates were asked: “In your opinion, what qualities should an empowered woman possess?”

Her reply: “I believe the quality she should possess is a kind heart, and to me, the perfect example is my mother. She's a woman that is kind to others. She's a woman that places others before herself. She's a woman that is always ready to serve. To me, I believe that is a quality that allows you to lead with kindness. That is a quality that allows you to change the world, and that is a quality that allows you to reach to a person far beyond the physical, and that is through the heart. And I just want to say tonight, thank you, Mom, for inspiring me to be that woman. Thank you.”
