Kobe Paras might be turning a new page, and possibly doing it from a brand-new address.
On May 1, 2025, the basketball player posted a series of Instagram Stories showing a bare, seemingly unfurnished living space undergoing what he described as deep cleaning.

Tagging Misis Linis Cleaning Services, Kobe offered a glimpse of what looked like a fresh start in a potentially newly acquired residence.
The master’s bedroom features wooden flooring, while the living area showcases marble tiles and large windows overlooking the cityscape.
While no formal announcement has been made about the acquisition of the residence, the sparse and unstyled interiors suggest the space is still in the early stages of being moved into.
Three days later, Kobe shared more updates through a photo carousel on Instagram, revealing additional corners of the minimalist unit.
One room caught our attention with its Louis Vuitton backpack and matching eco bag filled with basketballs—perhaps a hint that Kobe is slowly making the place his own.
Among the comments was one from his mom, Jackie Forster, who wrote, “Adulting is hard, but we go harder,” with supportive emojis.
Today, May 7, 2025, Kobe posted a photo of his door with a makeshift basketball hoop, its backboard covered in stickers.

Kobe's Home Updates Come After Kyline Split
Kobe’s posts arrive shortly after his highly publicized breakup with Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara.
The move has stirred speculation that Kobe might have found a new place, roughly a month after leaving Kyline's house.
In a 15-minute YouTube video uploaded on April 27, his mom Jackie Forster revealed that Kobe had been living in Kyline’s house during their relationship.
She also revealed that when the couple decided to part ways, Kobe was picked up by his older brother, Andre Paras.
“Fast forward to the day Kobe moved out, the things said and done to him were unforgivable,” Jackie recounted.
“Andre came to help Kobe move his things out, then he stayed to talk to Kyline's parents to apologize for how things ended and thank them for everything.
“Because that's who Andre is. He's kind and he is respectful.”
Jackie also further revealed that Kobe reached out to her soon after the split, suggesting that her son could do with some support after leaving what she described as a “toxic” environment.
Jackie: “Why Didn’t You Just Let Him Leave?”
Jackie went on to say how Kobe’s stay at Kyline’s house was framed by the actress and her family.
“Kyline also told Andre, ‘Ang sarap singilin ng rent,’” Jackie said, showing frustration over Kobe being shamed for being in a place to which he had been invited to stay.
“You let him borrow your car and stay at your place, while he was waiting on the condo that he wanted to buy, only for you and your family to belittle him,” Jackie went on.
“He was there because you asked, and he stayed because he wanted to try—trying to make it all work.”
Calling the relationship “toxic,” Jackie described a pattern of giving with strings attached.
“This was the layer of toxicity that Kobe was trying to tell me about. Knowing what I know now, most of which was shared by Kyline, I'm pretty sure Kobe felt trapped.”
She concluded with a pointed remark: “Kyline should have completely understood—the day that he decided to leave her—that he had had enough.”
After two days, Sparkle released a brief statement saying simply that Kyline "would like to move on from the issue."
Sparkle is the talent management arm of GMA-7 handling Kyline's showbiz career.
While the statement said that Kyline chooses to keep her "peace," it failed to address Jackie's thought-provoking statement on the couple's breakup, leaving the couple's followers confused and the whole issue still hanging to this day.
