Nagsagawa na ng legal na aksyon ang Korean entertainment agency na BELIFT LAB laban sa isang indibidwal na umano'y nang-stalk at lumabag sa privacy ng ENHYPEN member na si Jay.
Sa opisyal na pahayag na inilabas ng BELIFT LAB noong Martes, November 3, 2026, kinumpirma ng ahensiya na naging biktima si Jay ng stalking, isang seryosong paglabag sa kanyang privacy.

Ayon sa ahensiya, mula pa noong June 2026 ay makailang beses nang sinubukan ng naturang indibidwal na tawagan ang personal na numero ng telepono ng Korean-American singer.
Sa unang pagtawag nito, nagpanggap umano itong empleyado ng isang internet at television installation service center.
Binanggit pa umano nito ang pamilya ni Jay upang makuha ang tiwala ng singer at nagkunwaring magbibigay ng impormasyon tungkol sa kanilang mga serbisyo.
Mababasa sa pahayag ng BELIFT LAB (ayon sa English translation ng Soompi.com): "We have recently confirmed that ENHYPEN member JAY has been subjected to serious invasions of privacy and stalking.
"BELIFT LAB wishes to state our position on this matter and provide an update on our response measures.
"Since last June, the individual responsible for the incident (hereinafter referred to as the “individual”) has repeatedly attempted to contact the artist’s personal phone number.
"During the initial call, the individual falsely claimed to be an employee of an internet and television installation service center, mentioned the artist’s family, and approached the artist under the pretense of providing information about their services.
"In the process, the individual asked when they could call again and provided their personal contact information, attempting to deceive the artist with false information in order to obtain additional personal information.
"When the artist directly checked with his family, it was confirmed that the individual’s claims were false.

BELIFT LAB Files Criminal Complaint Against Jay’s Stalker
Sa kabila ng hindi pagpansin ni Jay, patuloy pa rin umano ang indibidwal sa paulit-ulit na pakikipag-ugnayan at pagtawag sa singer.
Mas lalo pang nabahala ang ahensiya at kanyang pamilya nang malaman na palihim na nirekord ng indibidwal ang mga pag-uusap nila ni Jay sa telepono at ipinu-post ito sa iba't ibang online platform.

Nang makumpirma ang account na ginagamit sa pagpo-post, nangatuwiran umano ang indibidwal na may kaugnayan sa trabaho ang mga tawag niya kay Jay at na-hack umano ang kanyang account.
Saad sa pahayag ng BELIFT LAB: "Despite the artist’s lack of response, the individual continued to harass the artist through persistent, repeated contact. F
"Furthermore, the individual secretly recorded their phone conversations and distributed the recordings across multiple platforms, including KakaoTalk, Instagram, and X Spaces.
"Even after the individual’s actions became publicly known, they repeatedly made excuses, claiming that the calls were “work-related” or that they had been “hacked,” and attempted to evade responsibility by deleting their accounts.
"We take this incident extremely seriously, as it constitutes not only an invasion of the artist’s privacy but also raises concerns about further harm resulting from the disclosure of personal information."

Dahil sa insidente, nagpasya ang BELIFT LAB na magsampa ng criminal complaint laban sa nasabing indibidwal.
Ayon sa ahensiya, itinuring nilang seryoso at mapaminsala ang mga ginawa nito dahil nagdulot ang paulit-ulit na pagtawag niya ng psychological distress at anxiety kay Jay.
Isinaalang-alang din ng kumpanya ang paggamit ng maling impormasyon upang makuha ang tiwala ng singer, gayundin ang palihim na pagre-record at pagpapakalat nito ng kanilang mga pag-uusap.
"We determined the deliberate nature and severity of the offense to be grave and malicious, taking into account the repeated contact that caused the artist significant psychological distress and anxiety, the use of false claims to deceive and lure the artist, and the unauthorized recording and distribution of the phone conversations.
"Accordingly, we have filed a criminal complaint against the individual."

Bukod sa pagsasampa ng reklamo, nakipag-ugnayan na rin ang BELIFT LAB sa tatlong telecommunications provider sa South Korea upang humingi ng tulong sa pagtukoy sa pagkakakilanlan ng indibidwal na nangungulit kay Jay.
BELIFT LAB Rules Out Settlement With Jay’s Stalker
Sa huli, nagpasalamat ang ahensiya sa mga tagasuporta ni Jay na nagbigay ng impormasyon at tumulong sa kanilang imbestigasyon.
Hinimok din nila ang publiko na patuloy na magsumite ng mga report sa pamamagitan ng Artist Rights Protection page ng kumpanya.

Binigyang-diin ng BELIFT LAB na hindi sila magbibigay ng anumang konsiderasyon o makikipag-areglo sa mga mapatutunayang responsable sa stalking at ilegal na pagpapakalat ng personal na impormasyon ng kanilang mga artist.
Sabi nila: "The reports submitted by fans throughout the process of filing this criminal complaint have been of great help.
"We sincerely thank all fans who have supported our efforts to protect the artist.
"Reports submitted through our Artist Rights Protection page (protect.hybecorp.com) are continuously reviewed by the relevant departments, and we ask for your continued cooperation and active reporting.
"BELIFT LAB would like to make it clear that we will take strong legal action, in accordance with our zero-tolerance policy, against stalking and the illegal disclosure of personal information that violate our artists’ privacy and threaten their personal safety.
"We will not extend any leniency or enter into settlements with those responsible."
