MARIA OZAWA on meeting david licauco
Sa Pulang Araw, gumaganap si Maria bilang si Haruka Tanaka, ina ni Hiroshi Tanaka, ang role na ginagampanan ni David.
“It was really fun. First, of course, I was very nervous, but as the day went on, it was really nice.
"And I really kind of liked playing the mother role. Like, very loving, and it was fun," pagbabahagi ni Maria sa panayam sa kanya ng GMA Network Online na lumabas kahapon, August 20, 2024.
Ayon pa sa Japanese actress, pinaghandaan din niya ang kanyang role bilang isang ina.
Lahad ni Maria, “I actually asked around in Japan, like, my aunties, and how they kind of raised the kids, and how, cause I heard from the director, he really wanted to be really traditional, like, real Japanese family.
"So I was asking [for] advice, like, 'What would I do or how I would react to kids?'”
Matatandaang nag-viral ang video ni David sa guesting niya sa Family Feud noong nakaraang January 8, 2024.
Ang tanong ni Dingdong Dantes, host ng show, sa pangatlong round ay dugtungan ang pangalang “Maria.”

“Ozawa!” sagot ni David, na ang tinutukoy ay ang dating Japanese adult actress.
Kaagad na kinantiyawan si David ng mga kasamahan niya.
Tila hiyang-hiya ang Kapuso actor sa sagot niya. Parang gusto na raw niyang tumakas sa studio nung mga oras na yun.

Ayon kay Maria, nakarating at napanood niya ang video clip na ito ni David.
Sabi nito, “It was so funny because before I met him, I think I saw one of the shows. It was trending in Japan also, and then everybody was, like, hashtag Maria Ozawa, David in this TV show. And we were all, like, laughing about it."
Ayon kay Maria, malaki ang naging tulong ng naturang video para magkaroon kaagad sila ng koneksiyon ni David sa taping, lalo na't mag-ina ang karakter nila sa Pulang Araw.
Saad niya, “It was really fun, and it was nice, like, we had something to talk about and I think we get along in a mother-son relationship.”

Grateful naman ang aktres at nabigyan siya ng proyekto ng Kapuso network.
Dagdag niya, “I am very grateful, and I haven't been acting for a long time, so I was a bit worried at first.
"But I'm very happy for this opportunity that GMA gave me, and I hope it will be a great success.”

MARIA OZAWA HOPES FILIPINOS LEARN JAPANESE CULTURE
Umaasa rin ang Japanese star na mas makilala pa ng Pinoy audience ang kultura ng mga Hapon sa pamamagitan ng Pulang Araw.
Sabi niya, “I hope that they will understand more about how Japanese people, how Japanese families react to wars, and how their parents are the cultural difference that I said before it's really different.
“I am one hundred percent sure that by watching the series you can see and tell how different we communicate with the family members and how the husband holds the house and the kids and everything it's very different so I hope they can learn a bit of it and learn a little bit of Japanese culture.”
