There's a new Miss Jolie in town.

Reports flooded in days after Shiloh Jolie-Pitt's birthday on May 27, 2024, stating that she is legally filing to drop her last name now that she is 18 years old and officially an adult.

The daughter of estranged couple Angelina Jolie, 48, and Brad Pitt, 60, came to the decision amid the ongoing legal battles between her parents.

Based on the documents acquired by American celebrity news site TMZ, Shiloh filed a petition to go solely by the name Shiloh Jolie.

SHILOH'S SIBLINGS FOLLOW SUIT

Apart from Shiloh, Angelina and Brad's other daughters Zahara, 19, and Vivienne, 15, also reportedly chose to drop "Pitt" from their surnames.

In November 2023, a video of then-18-year-old Zahara shared by online publication Essence went viral after she introduced herself with her mother's maiden name.

As a new member of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at Spelman College, she declared, "My name is Zahara Marley Jolie.

"Coming all the way from the Golden State, in the city full of angels, Los Angeles, California... I am this line’s number seven."

Meanwhile, entertainment magazine US Weekly confirmed that Shiloh and Zahara’s younger sister, Vivienne, also decided to use "Jolie" as her last name.

This was evident when she was credited as Vivienne Jolie in the playbill for the Broadway play The Outsiders, where she works as a production assistant under her mother Angelina's production.

Other kids Brad and Angelina also share are Maddox, 22; Pax, 20; and Vivienne's twin brother Knox, 15.

As the children live with Angelina, her influence over the children is expected to be more dominant than Brad's.

They got married in a small chapel at the Chateau Miraval, the family's 60-hectare estate in the French village of Correns, Southern France.

According to sources, the quiet union was witnessed by just 20 guests.

Brad told People, "It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter. It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family."

ALLEGED CHEATING

A report by The New York Post's "Page Six" said Brad was cheating on Angelina with French actress Marion Cotillard, 40.

Brad and Marion are co-stars in the World War II drama Allied.

The French film actress firmly denied this accusation, slamming media outlets citing her as the reason for the former power couple's split.

Marion wrote in an Instagram post on September 22, 2016: "This is going to be my first and only reaction to the whirlwind news that broke 24 hours ago and that I was swept up into.

"I am not used to commenting on things like this nor taking them seriously but as this situation is spiraling and affecting people I love, I have to speak up."

Subsequently, she opened up about her steady relationship with longtime partner Guillaume Canet.

"Firstly, many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting. He is my love, my best friend, the only one that I need," she penned.

"Secondly, to those who have indicated that I am devastated, I am very well thank you. This crafted conversation isn't distressing.

"And to all the media and the haters who are quick to pass judgment, I sincerely wish you a swift recovery."

Marion added that she has nothing but respect for both Angelina and Brad.

"Finally, I do very much wish that Angelina and Brad, both whom I deeply respect, will find peace in this very tumultuous moment."

Though they are legally single, Brad and Angelina have yet to finalize their divorce, resolve custody issues, or decide on the ownership of their French winery, Chateau Miraval.
