Tila nagbago ang ihip ng hangin para sa 2NE1 member na si Park Bom matapos siyang magbahagi ng isang madamdaming handwritten letter sa Instagram.
Dito ay ibinida niya ang kanyang mga dating kasamahan sa all-girl K-pop group na sina CL, Minzy, at Sandara Park.
Ngayong Biyernes, April 17, 2026, ipinost ni Park Bom sa Instagram ang litrato ng isinulat na liham, na kalauna'y binura rin niya.

Gayunman, marami sa kanyang followers ang naka-screenshot ng post at ibinahagi ito online.
Ayon kay Park Bom, isinulat niya ang liham dahil pakiramdam niya ay ito na ang huling pagkakataong maihahayag niya sa publiko ang nilalaman ng kanyang puso.
Sinimulan niya ito sa pagbabalik-tanaw sa kung paano siya nagsimula bilang K-pop idol.
Mababasa sa kanyang post (base sa English translation ng Allkpop): "I am writing this letter to you thinking this time, it will really be my last time. I have something I really want to say.
"While studying abroad in the United States, I decided that I wanted to become a singer, and so I returned to Korea. This might all sound random, but please just hear me out.
"I am Park Bom, in charge of singing. That is where my talents lie, in singing.
"Even when I was an exchange student, I was popular because I could sing."
"So I returned to Korea, got through the rigorous auditions while competing against countless others, convinced my parents to give up on a path of studying for me, and hunkered down for three years to audition for YG [Entertainment]."
PARK BOM CALLS Cl THE "GOD OF PERFORMANCE"
Isa-isa ring pinuri ni Park Bom ang kanyang mga kagrupo sa iconic K-pop girl group na 2NE1 sa pangunguna ng lider ng grupo na si CL (Lee Chaerin).
Tinawag niyang "God of performance" si CL dahil sa pagpapakita raw nito ng matinding karisma at husay sa entablado anumang oras.
Pahayag ni Park Bom: "With tenacity, I embarked on this path to become not just a singer, but the best, and it was because of that tenacity that I came face to face with singing at Captain Planet....
"Let me introduce you to CL, Lee Chaerin, our leader. She is a God of performance. She can come up with any kind of organization, facial expression, anything, on the spot, and make it happen.
"She is a rapper. I'm not CL, so I may not be fully correct, but she is someone who came from France, Tokyo, and South Korea. Aren't those places so far??"

Dagdag pa niya, "Lee Chaerin is an admirable person. She fulfills everything admirably. Even when she moves her hand, it looks cool.
"She is in charge of making everything look cool. She is in charge of performance at Captain Planet."
Park Bom applauds Minzy’s talent
Ipinahayag din ni Park Bom ang labis niyang paghanga kay Gong Minzy, ang pinakabata sa 2NE1, na inilarawan naman niyang talentado sa maraming bagay lalo na sa pagsasayaw.
Saad niya: "Our maknae is Gong Minzy. She is well known as the granddaughter of madame Gong Ok Jin, a national treasure of South Korea.
"Having watched over her from close by her side, I feel proud of her. The blood of pride runs in her veins. She is crazy. She is a God of dance! It's a wonder.
"Whenever I watch her, she leaves me amazed. She is most definitely, without a doubt, the most spontaneous, strangest child.
"She is a delight. At random moments when I am on stage, I smile because Minzy makes me proud.
"Part of it is because it's all on the spot. People might not know this, but even overseas, anyone can tell that this girl is the stuff."

Park Bom admires Sandara Park’s vocals and dedication to the group
Hindi rin nakalimutan ni Park Bom na purihin si Sandara Park, ang aniya'y "Princess of the Philippines.”
Pag-amin ni Park Bom, matagal na niyang hinahangaan si Sandara hindi lang sa galing nito sa pagpe-perform kundi sa pagiging masipag, matalino, at mapagbigay sa kanilang grupo.

Aniya: "And lastly, my Sandara...Sandara is the princess of the Philippines. I was always a fan.
"I would tune into TV to watch 'Human Theater' because she looked so similar to actress Kang Soo Yeon's debut image. Isn't she pretty??
"In the team, she is in charge of maintaining a harmonious order, and refreshing vocals. She always greets people with a smile.
"Along with me, the main vocal, we sing together and it creates a synergy because her voice is so beautiful.
"We all work hard, but even when Sandara is our unnie, she suppresses her shame and pours all her effort to the point of stubbornness. I know everything.
"She is in charge of the brains at Captain Planet. She is highly intelligent. Sort of like a manager."
Ayon kay Park Bom, bagamat hindi na sila madalas nagkakasama at nagkikita ng kanyang mga kagrupo mula nang mag-disband sila noong 2016, hindi raw nabago ang pagmamahal at pagpapahalaga niya sa mga ito.
Sabi niya: "What I am trying to say is that I am watching over my members, one by one. If I were to just express myself plainly.
"I love you girls so much. You have no idea how much I was did not want to write this.
"I started writing on another piece of paper but it gave me chills so I screamed while I wrote.
"It's just so not my way of doing things. But this is our story that has been a part of us for 20 years. It's 100% true."
Park Bom addresses drug controversy
Sa huli, binanggit ni Park Bom ang tungkol sa kontrobersiyang kinaharap niya, kunsaan nadawit pa si Sandara.
Umaasa siyang balang araw ay ituring na lamang ng iba na parang hindi nangyari ang insidente nang akusahan niya si Sandara na gumagamit umano noon ng ilegal na droga.

Mensahe niya: "I hope my feelings will get through. I am writing because I want to convey these feelings no matter what.
"In truth, about the drug accusations I made before, I am hoping that you will all just ignore that it happened.
"Because it really was a miracle that the four of us came together as a team, despite our age differences.
"It really wasn't supposed to be possible, and so I don't want it all to have been for nothing.
"So I am writing this letter.. To you who raised and nurtured us. Thank you. I love you."
Park Bom claims she was a scapegoat vs Sandara Park ALLEGED DRUG ABUSE
Noong March 3, 2026, nagulantang ang maraming tagahanga ng 2NE1 nang i-claim ni Park Bom na ginawa umano siyang "scapegoat" upang pagtakpan ang paggamit ng ilegal na droga noon ni Sandara.
Pinalaki rin umano ang drug-smuggling scandal na kinasangkutan niya upang mabaling ang atensiyon ng publiko sa kanya sa halip na kay Sandara, na siya raw tunay na gumagamit ng ilegal na droga.

Noong 2010 ay naging laman ng balita sa iba't ibang bansa ang pangalan ni Park Bom dahil sa isyu ng paggamit niya ng international courier delivery service para sa tangkang pagpuslit ng Adderall.
Lumabas noon sa mga ulat na nahuli si Park Bom na sinubukang magpuslit ng 82 tablets ng Adderall mula sa U.S. sa pamamagitan ng FedEx.
Gayunpaman, na-hold ng Customs ang package sa Incheon International Airport.
Ang Adderall ay gamot na naglalaman ng amphetamine at dextroamphetamine. Ginagamit ito bilang inireresetang medikal na lunas sa ilang bansa para sa may mga attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) at narcolepsy
Subalit ipinagbabawal ang paggamit ng nasabing psychotropic drug sa South Korea sa ilalim ng Presidential Decree.
Mabilis na nagsagawa ng imbestigasyon ang Incheon District Prosecutors na humawak sa kaso ni Park Bom.
Ngunit hindi nagtagal, noong November 2010, ay tuluyan itong nasuspindi.
Hindi nagtagal ay mariiing itinanggi ni Sandara ang paratang sa kanya ni Park Bom.
Maikli ngunit diretsong pahayag ni Sandara sa kanyang Instagram Stories noong March 4: "I have never used drugs."
