Angelica Panganiban recently revealed that she regrets turning down a role in the hit 2013 Star Cinema movie Four Sisters and a Wedding.
In an interview with Boy Abunda that was uploaded on the host's YouTube channel on December 1, the actress was asked if she ever regretted not doing a movie that was offered to her.
Angelica then cited the film and admitted, “Hanggang ngayon, hindi ko siya pinapanood.”
Four Sisters and a Wedding was Star Cinema’s 20th-anniversary offering for 2013. It was to be headlined by Angelica, Bea Alonzo, Toni Gonzaga, and Angel Locsin.
Angelica even attended the story conference of the movie, but she ended up dropping out of the project.
Shaina Magdayao was later added to the cast.
In the same interview, Angelica was asked why she declined the role.
Uy, bakit nag-okay sila agad? Ha-ha-ha!”

In Four Sisters and a Wedding, Toni, Bea, Angel, and Shaina played sisters who connived to stop the wedding of their brother, played by Enchong Dee.
The movie was a success, and continues to be relevant today as netizens make memes out of Bea’s “Bakit parang kasalanan ko?” line.
In 2020, Star Cinema produced a prequel to Four Sisters and a Wedding. Titled Four Sisters Before The Wedding, the film was set in 2003, ten years before the events in the original film.
The lead stars were Charlie Dizon, Alexa Ilacad, Gillian Vicencio, and Belle Mariano.
