Ibinasura ng Pasay City Regional Trial Court Branch 112 ang kasong syndicated estafa na inihain laban sa actress-businesswoman na si Neri Naig Miranda.
Sa Instagram post ng asawa ni Neri na si Parokya ni Edgar vocalist Chito Miranda ngayong Martes, March 4, 2025, ibinahagi niya ang official statement ng pagkaka-dismiss sa lahat ng isinampang kaso laban sa kanyang misis.
Base sa official statement mula sa legal counsel ni Neri na si Atty. Aureli Sinsuat ng FLO Attorneys-at-Law, noong February 12 pa kinatigan ng korte, sa pangunguna ni acting Presiding Judge Ronald August Tan, ang pagsasawalang-bisa ng kasong syndicated estafa sa aktres.

Mababasa sa pahayag: "The Regional Trial Court of Pasay City (RTC Pasay City) has dismissed all pending cases against Nerizza 'Neri' Miranda related to the Dermacare/Beyond Skin Care Solutions scheme.
"In a copy of an Order dated February 12, 2025 and obtained just yesterday, Branch 112 of RTC Pasay City ordered the dismissal of the syndicated estafa complaint against Miranda upon motion of the Office of the City Prosecutor of Pasay City, which found no probable cause to indict Miranda upon reinvestigation sought by her legal counsel.
"In describing the insufficiency of the criminal complaint filed against Miranda, Acting Presiding Judge Ronald August I.
"Tan said in the Order: 'Glaringly, the private complainants never alleged being defrauded by [Miranda]... More mind-boggling is that private complainants never asserted having personally transacted with or handed over money to [Miranda]...Therefore, the evidence presented indeed fails to establish that [Miranda] committed the crime of Estafa, moreso,
Syndicated Estafa.'"

Maging ang kasong 14 counts of violation of Securities Regulation Code ni Neri ay ibinasura na rin base sa desisyon ni Acting Presiding Judge Gina M. Bibat-Palamos.
"In an earlier Order dated January 20, 2025, Acting Presiding Judge Gina M. Bibat-Palamos of RTC Pasay City Branch 111 also directed the dismissal of the complaints filed against Miranda for violation of the Securities Regulation Code (Republic Act No. 8799)."
Kalakip ng pahayag ang pasasalamat ng kampo ni Neri sa naging desisyon ng korte na siya'y ipawalang-sala.
Saad ni Atty. Sinsuat: "We thank the courts for clearing the name of Neri Miranda, who has unmistakably been falsely accused of wrongdoing in the Dermacare case.
"We hope that this issue will be put to rest as regards to Neri, so that instrumentalities of the law can focus on bringing the true perpetrators of the Dermacare scam to justice."

CHITO MIRANDA: "Mabuti nalang talaga na alam ni Lord ang buong katotohanan..."
Tuwang-tuwa at nagpapasalamat naman si Chito sa pagkakaabsuwelto ni Neri.
Aniya, saksi ang maraming tao sa kabutihang loob ni Neri kaya't hindi raw kataka-takang lumabas ang katotohanang wala itong niloloko at kasalanan.
Sabi ni Chito: "Thank You, Lord. Mabuti nalang talaga na alam ni Lord ang buong katotohanan kaya never Nya pinabayaan si Neri.
"Sobrang blessed din kami dahil the people who matter knew the truth as well, and did everything they could to help and support her.
"We are so thankful that she was eventually given the chance to defend herself, and her side of the story. Maraming maraming salamat po.
"Neri is such a kind and trustworthy person, and those who know her, know that. Alam din ng lahat na sobrang hardworking nya.
"Ang problema lang talaga minsan ay masyado syang mabait at matulungin, kaya madalas syang naaabuso, at napapahamak.
"Pero kahit ganun, sobrang proud ako because Neri would always choose to be kind and fair, no matter how mean and unfair the world is, and kahit ano ang ibato sa kanya ng mundo, her integrity, at ang kanyang mabuting pagkatao, will always be intact."
Dagdag pa niya, "To those who chose to stand up and defend my wife, maraming salamat talaga."
NERI NAIG case
Si Neri ang isa sa celebrity endorser ng Dermacare, ang beauty clinic na pag-aari ni Chanda Atienza na nasangkot sa investment scam noong November 2024.

Dahil dito, patung-patong na kaso ang isinampa kay Neri ng mga investor, kabilang na ang 14 counts of violation of the Securities Regulation Code (SRC) at syndicated estafa.

Hinuli si Neri ng pulisya sa basement ng isang convention center sa Pasay City noong November 23.
Umabot sa PHP1.7 million ang buong piyansa para sa 14 counts of security regulations violation at non-bailable naman ang syndicated estafa.
Noong December 4, nakalabas si Neri mula sa limang araw na hospital furlough.
Sa halip na bumalik siya sa piitan ay diretso nang nakauwi ang negosyante at dating aktres.

Ito ay matapos ipag-utos ng Pasay City RTC Branch 112 ang agarang pagpapalaya kay Neri kasunod ng pagpabor ng korte sa motion to quash ng kampo ng actress-businesswoman.

Pitong araw namalagi si Neri sa Pasay City Jail Female Dormitory matapos itong maaresto.
Malaking tagumpay para sa mga abogado ni Neri ang araw na iyon dahil bukod sa napaboran ang kanilang motion to quash a warrant of arrest, pinalaya rin si Neri mula sa pagkakakulong.
Ang motion to quash ay isang remedyong legal kung saan ang akusado ay pinapayagang kuwestiyunin ang legalidad ng warrant of arrest.

Samantala, bukod kay Neri, nadawit din ang comedienne na si Rufa Mae sa nasabing investment scam.
Katulad ni Neri, si Rufa ay isa ring celebrity endorser ng Dermacare.
