Sa Instagram nitong nakaraang May 18, 2023, nagbigay-pugay si Emmanuelle sa Diyos at sa mga taong nakasama niya sa kanyang pageant journey.
Mensahe niya: “To everybody who made this journey possible, you are the ones who truly deserve crowns. People like me are merely the faces of the hardworking & dedicated teams who are the machinery that keep us going.
“I want to start by thanking God, who both gives and takes away, and remains good nevertheless. He is sovereign above every circumstance, and I praise him in both my victories and defeats.

TECHNICAL PROBLEMS AFTER TOP 10 ANNOUNCEMENT
Sa grand coronation ng Miss Universe Philippines 2023, pumasok sa Top 18 ang pageant veterans na sina Emmanuelle, Michelle, Samantha Panlilio ng Cavite, at Pauline Amelinckx ng Bohol.

Pero sa Top 10 ay hindi na nakasama ang pangalan ni Emmanuelle.
Ang mga inanunsiyong nakapasok ay sina Michelle, Pauline, Samantha, Krishnah Gravidez (Baguio), Klyza Ferrando Castro (Davao Oriental), Christine Opiaza (Zambales), Jan Marie Bordon (Bacolod), Jannarie Zarzoso (Agusan Del Norte), Rein Hillary Carrascal (Sorsogon), at Airissh Ramos (Eastern Samar).

Matapos ang anunsiyo ng Top 10, nagkaroon ng tila pag-aklas ang netizens sa naging resulta ng umusad sa kumpetisyon.
Nakadagdag pa sa tensiyon ang matagal na commercial break upang maglaban-laban na ang napiling Top 10 sa evening gown competition.
Kalaunan, lumabas ang host na si Xian Lim sa entablado at ipinaalam sa publiko ang hindi inaasahang kaganapan sa pagko-compute ng scores ng mga kandidata.
Sabi ni Xian: "To everyone watching here tonight and to everyone watching at home via online streaming we have an announcement to make.
"This is gonna make tonight a little interesting.
"Due to technical issues, we've resulted to manual tallying, which means, our Top 18 candidates will go through the evening gown and compete for the Top 5."
Ibig sabihin, diretso na sa Top 5 pagkatapos irampa ng Top 18 candidates ang kanilang evening gowns.

Tila nawalan ng saysay ang Top 10, at naging game changer sa pageant ang desisyong ito.
Halimbawa, hindi pasok si Miss Pampanga sa Top 10, pero nakarampa siya sa evening gown dahil sa desisyon at umabot pa siya sa Top 5.

SHAMCEY SUPSUP CLARIFIES DISCREPANCIES
Isang linggo matapos ganapin ang grand coronation night, saka pa lamang naglabas ng official statement si Shamcey Supsup tungkol sa nangyaring "technical issues."
Si Shamcey ang national director ng Miss Universe Philippines Organization. Siya rin ay third runner-up sa Miss Universe 2011.
Noong May 19, 2023, nag-post si Shamcey sa kanyang Instagram account tungkol sa issue.
Inamin ng dating beauty queen na nagkaroon ng “discrepancies” sa tabulated results sa pagpili ng Top 10 at posibleng nakompromiso umano ang resulta.
Binanggit ni Shamcey na siya mismo ang nakapansin ng “discrepancies," kaya mabilis silang nagsagawa ng manual counting ng scores ng judges.
Idiniin din ni Shamcey na nang gawin ang automated tallying at manual tallying ay naroon ang presensiya ng accounting firm.
Binanggit sa pageant na ang kilalang accounting firm na SGV & Co. ang partner ng Miss Universe Philippines Organization sa pag-tally ng votes sa grand coronation.
Bahagi ng paliwanag ni Shamcey: “Following the announcement, which was based on the independently tabulated results provided by the accounting firm, those very same results were submitted to the board of MUPh for record-keeping purposes.
“However, as I carefully examined the figures, my attention was drawn to the highly improbable nature of the numbers. This gave rise to concerns that the integrity of the results may have been compromised.
“In order to ensure absolute fairness and transparency, the board made the decision to initiate a manual counting of the judges' votes. This meticulous process was conducted with the utmost diligence and in the presence of the accounting firm.
“As a result, it became evident that there were discrepancies in the initial top 10 results.”
Ito ang dahilan kaya nagdesisyon ang organisasyong rumampa sa evening gown portion ang Top 18.
Ani Shamcey, “Our primary objective as an organization is to promote integrity, transparency, and accountability in all aspects of the pageant. We believe in providing equal opportunities for all candidates and to do what is right no matter the consequences.”
May netizens na natuwa at pinuri si Shamcey sa paliwanag na ibinigay niya ukol sa nangyaring aberya sa pageant.
Subalit marami ring pumuna kay Shamcey dahil inabot ng isang linggo bago siya naglabas ng official statement.
Marami rin ang nagbanggit na dapat daw ay maglabas din ng official statement ang accounting firm sa nangyaring discrepancies.
