"I'm [gonna] tell a bit of a story, a quick story. Who here loves the movie Spider-Man: Homecoming?
"Who loves the character of Zendaya?" tanong ni Jeffrey sa audience.
Pagbubunyag niya: "Liza was offered to audition for that role, they reached out for her to audition to be Mary Jane, one of the most iconic characters."

Ayon kay Jeffrey, "She [Liza] was not allowed because she had to do the same thing she was always doing, right?
"I really shouldn't have said that. But it's the truth, it's the truth.
"Now, imagine this wasn't like as if she was being marketed, like they reached out.
"That was I mean by, like, it's self-evident in a lot of different ways when you go out, there are people looking for Filipino talent."
"Imagine, a Filipina actress was a star of one of the biggest Marvel history, movies in history?
"Imagine she was Mary Jane? What that would do for Philippine entertainment?
"But then, she was in a 10-year contract which is also unheard of anywhere else in the world?"
Sabi niya, "I'm sure you guys may have seen the news, the thing right now.
"I think the bigger conversation is that... the big reason why a lot of stars and creatives here are not able to make it internationally isn't because they're not talented enough or because people aren't looking for them, [it's] because they legally can't most of the time."
LIZA DENIES GETTING OFFER TO PLAY MARY JANE

Saad ni Liza, “It’s not really an invitation, I think it was what the fans [of Marvel] wanted.
“All my fans started re-tweeting it and everything, but wala naman po talagang invitation."
Aniya, "I would love that [to play Mary Jane]. That would be a nice opportunity."
