Isang araw bago naganap ang coronation show ng 67th Miss Universe, nagpasalamat si Catriona Gray dahil umabot sa 1 million mark ang followers ng Instagram account niya.

Ilang oras matapos koronahan si Catriona bilang Miss Universe 2018 sa Bangkok, Thailand, pumalo sa 2 million ang IG followers niya at inaasahang lalampas ito sa dalawang milyon sa mga susunod na oras.

Hindi lamang si Catriona ang nadagdagan ang followers dahil instant celebrity sa Bangkok ang kanyang actor boyfriend na si Clint Bondad, na naging pantasya ng mga kathoey o Thai gay.

Isang Thai journalist ang nagtanong kay Catriona sa presscon tungkol kay Clint dahil maraming Thai fans ang curious sa boyfriend niya.

“I haven’t spoken to anyone except my parents yet. It’s been a whirlwind ever since I got on stage so maybe tonight, I’d be able to catch up with my team and family,” sagot ng fourth Pinay Miss Universe.

Pinatotohanan ni MJ Marfori ng TV5 na may fans si Clint, mostly gays, sa Thailand dahil ito ang sinabi sa kanya ng isang Thai transwoman journalist.
